Becoming Home is a channel that encompasses many topics including crafting, cooking, decor tips, organization tricks and diy projects. Join me here every Friday, as I share tutorials and hopefully inspire you to tackle your own projects.
Real life isn’t as pretty as the magazines. It’s not as put together as the television portrays. It takes time for a house to become a home. Weekend renovation projects are not always financially possible for many of us. We don’t have the time or means to transform our spaces all at once. Neither our lives nor our houses are picture perfect. With that in mind, this is a channel about the process of creating a home. It’s about making your house a haven, a calming and cozy space to relax in, a bright and inspiring atmosphere to rejuvenate you, a warm and welcoming area not only for your guests but also for yourself and your family to enjoy. But it’s a process. It takes time. It’s planning and budgeting. It’s being creative and frugal. It’s a journey. And I promise you, you’ll enjoy getting there…
Watched about 20 linen closet decor videos and yours by far was the best!
Thankyou for simplifying the whole task.
I'm on for the week..... I'm ready to go. Thanks for the tips
Finally someone who is realistic!
Thanks. I needed this to inspire me to get busy!
Thought this was awesome. Linen closet shall be tackled next! Thanks!
Thank you so much!! Glad it inspired you!
Very nice!...Thank you for showing me that I didn't have to throw away or buy new matching towels. I can use what I have and make it pretty.
Great ideas, especially the bedsheets in the matching pillow case.
Thanks! It really does help keep things organized. :)
one of the best so far. Thank you
Lovely and practical!
Quick, pretty and breathtaking! 👍👍

Good, simple and Practical ideas thank you
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I just bought those same wire baskets a couple of weeks ago so I can redo my linen closet. Thank you for the sheet tip, I had never seen that particular storage method before. I do have a suggestion for your big blankets, etc that you want to keep but you dont use a lot, the plastic bags that you seal and then vacuum the air out are really great space savers and will protect your items very well. Great video, thanks for sharing. Now I need to do mine!
Very well done!!!
Thank you! It's really nice to have my cupboard organized and STAY organized! :)
This is one of, if not the best linen closet organization videos that I've seen. One person suggested putting a fabric softener sheet in with bedding that is used seasonally. Thank you for the video; I appreciate you.
I've heard fabric softener sheets mentioned in other videos or comments but I've never seen them in Australia. Is it not a thing here or have I been missing seeing them. Anyone know?
Agree
@@poledra73 I think people use fabric dryer sheets for the fragrance, but to me they they are toxic chemicals that smell awful.
Great ideas. Thanks!
Thank you! I love how neat and organized my linen cupboard stays after implementing this system.
Very well done thank you!
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!
I like to use the clear zipper bag from my bed spread purchase to hold my homemade quilts and knitted throws people have made me. You can see them, it keeps them clean, and it is a way to recycle the plastic carrier. I also like to use them for blankets, pillows, and purses.
This! Me too! They're so useful to keep things dust-free in storage.
Same.
Well done, my only suggestion is not to throw the large zip comforter bags out. They are perfect for storing seasonal blankets, comforters, quilts, and perfect for the items you stored in garbage bags.
Totally agree!
Wow I was just going through my towels and folding the ones that weren't stained, and then I'm thinking I absolutely hate these tags! Wondering if I should cut them off!😆 you have a good video thank you
Good practical tips. Your bulky items like the doona and quilt can be stored in a Space Bag so it saves space and keeps them mostly air tight. Can get them from Kmart. Well in Australia anyway. Can't tell from your accent where you're from but calling the doona a comforter suggests North America.
Try the new hefty shrink wrap bags they are great for those bulk items
Very nice job! I just subbed - #99, only one away from 100! Congrats!
Thanks so much!! Glad you enjoyed the video. The linen cupboard was one of my favorite projects once it was organised. :)
I fold my towels like that 😀
I am on board with all of your suggestions. My problem is if I take the closet for linens only where do I relocate cleaning supplies and medical and beauty products ? I like to start prodjectsand touch it once and have an end point. Organized!
I think it would have been nice to store your mom's quilt in the old comforter bag instead of the garbage bag... it would protect it, and it's clear so u can see exactly what in it
Guardado vertical es más efectivo
Very nice but I would not put my towels in the basket it would be harder to get get the towel on the bottom you don't need that basket Where do you store your soaps shampoos and toiletries
Get rid of plastic to store linens. The plastic can and will ruin them. Make white cotton covers or silk and satin

I'm glad those pesky tags bothered some 1 else. My sis just said I was anal. Lol. I like the polka fot bins. Also like mix of closed & open bins. Storing sheet sets altgthr is a game changer
Gee what a waste! You never showed us the long shot of the entire closet ?
You may not like this comment, but you and your family might thank me later. If you put clean clothes on the floor no matter how clean it may look, the fact that people walk on it either barefoot or with shoes, the carpet has millions and millions of microscopic germs and bacteria regardless how much you vacuum. Even the vacuum has millions and millions of germs and bacteria that spread throughout the house as you vacuum. If you put clean towels, sheets and anything that goes on your skin, then all of those germs go on your skin into your pours. People get sick. You get the picture. Other than that. I enjoyed the video.
