In Polish history, the cavalry you saw at the end of the film was very important. It is an honorary regiment that maintains tradition and was created in honor of the historic cavalry

This is a annual military parade on August 15th, a Polish Armed Forces Day, to memorate Polish victory over soviets in 1920, during the Battle of Warsaw. To this day it is one of the biggest military parades in the world. You should watch the last years parade, by the river in full sun. It was bigger than this one.
Oh, we also have a bit smaller one on November 11, it's our Independence Day (spelled that right?). This one has a bit diferent tone as we memorate all our freedomfighters in last over 200years.
Parada of stupidity, especially last one. Duda looked like helium balloon about to expolede. Do you know how much this stupidity costs? Better to be spend on sick children rather than regular private collections which should not happening as Polish kids are stated to have free medical care.

2:10 Each type of military has its own colors. Black berets are armored forces, maroon - paratroopers (many want to wear them :P), blue - coastal defense, etc.
In addition, there are colors in other elements of the uniform. There are representations of all units in the parade, hence it looks a bit mottled.

As for whether Poland has the strongest army in Europe - if all plans go to fruition it will have the strongest ground army in Europe, but you can't forget that UK has a lot of navy and aviation forces for example and the UK and France have also nuclear arsenal.
According to some specs Neither the UK nor Germany couldn't send a Brigade (5.000 troops) to the Eastern Flank, and France could only field 6 Brigades.... The West is demilitarised appareantly XD

The guy in military uniform was Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, General (OF-09) Rajmund Andrzejczak. Currently he is a journalist working for "Kanał ZERO".

Cavalry in the Polish armed forces played an important role because it was cheap, it was used to break enemy lines, but it used anti-tank rifles and light artillery rather than sabers against armored opponents, and it was used to reach areas inaccessible to tanks, it also had police applications and delivered supplies. in a place where there were no roads through which trucks could pass, it was particularly important in defending the south of Poland against the German attack from Slovakia...
These are the soldiers that are from another countries but they are doing services for their countries in Poland. In ever country you have at least few bases full of foreigner soliders

Right now Poland is in the process of deeply restructuring its army. At the moment Poland has about 300 working tanks and if everything goes according to the plan (and it's not going) they should have over 1000 tanks. Poland is also increasing the size of its artillery forces by a few hundred gun artillery pieces and a few hundred rocket artillery pieces (famous 500 HIMARS launchers, but they won't go that high), around 35 F-35 planes (possibly over 60), few dozens of KA-50 planes, a lot of air defense and IFVs and also the size of the army itself is supposed to grow from 100k to 300k.
That being said a lot of it is a work in progress and we don't know how it will all end. Right now the Polish army has a lot of problems, we will see if the new government will be able to solve them.

Yes it's i n Warsaw amd the road they are using runs near the shore of the river. That way lanes can fly in a safe path over water while being nicely visible to spectarors. The Foreighn soldiers were from nations that had troop located in Poland at the time due to tensions with Russia. Black Beret are the armoured forces (Tanks) Grey are the GROM unit. Light red is the MP, Green are norrmal soldiers, dark green some Special forces like AGAT (FORMOZA the naval specials wear black ones too), Maroon are the paratroopers, olive is the new Territorial guard. Fun fact: boarder guard and police use cavalry (police only some, it's mostly the border guardin some regions)
Territorial defence forces are using brown beret. Not olive. Black ones are for armored units but also crew members in mechanized and motorized units.

Not sure if we have the manpower to be the strongest in Europe but we certainly will have the most tanks, rocket artillery and maybe most planes once the deliveries and production are complete.

This is day that honors Polish military of 1920 when inviding russians (soviet) were defeted.
Nice reaction! The parade took place in the seaside in the Hel Peninsula. Hel is also a town at the very end of it - see a map. The word "hel" comes from the oldpolish language and ment "a dune, a wilderness, a promontory". Writing it with double "ll" was started by foreigners coming there and saying on YT that they've been in "hell". Mamy people use this spelling but it does not apply to this place.

scarf coulor is dependent on brigade, beret colour is dependent on kind of armed forces. Light green is infantry, black is tankers, red is paratroopers and crimson red is MP, dark green is most special forces, grey berets are reverved for JW Grom. Parade happens every year (exception for covid) on 15th of august in Warsaw, basicly the parade you were watching is from few years back, parade in 2023 was much bigger, and was without any soviet/post-soviet equipment on ground. Something about date 15 of august 1921 there was Battle of Warsaw, also called Vistula Miracle, because after 2 years of losing our territory we've pushed soviets back to their territory.
I will add that light brown beret is territorial defence forces and black beret are also crew members of IFVs or APCs in motorized and mechanized brigades.

It is military parade during the Day of Polish Army (on 15th August). This day commemorates victory of Polish Army in the Warsaw's Battle against Soviet Russia in 1920. This was one of the battles that saved Europe, like Vienna Battle in 1683. There are representativs of other armies just because Poland is NATO member and cooperates with other armies that are also NATO members. Polish air forces also cooperate with British Air Forces defending sky of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, because this coutries don't have their own air forces. Air forces of several NATO countries are on duty to defend these countries, including Polish and British.

Polish soldier has spirit (fi. Hussars, Wizna battle, 303 Sq and more) but only thanks for that Poland exists and stopped comunists in delievery comunism for western Europe. Just remember about history and be united, thats all.
After the way Poles suffered during WW2 it`s important to prevent any repeat of such subjugation.

Niestety 17-9-1939 najechali nas sowieci. Oba te fanatyczne systemy mordowały polską inteligencję. Oficerów, nauczycieli, lekarzy, pracowników poczty, pracowników kolei. Niemcy zrobili rzeź w Palmirach, ruscy w Katyniu. Tysiące polskich intelektualistów zostało zamordowanych strzałem w tył głowy. The ordered weapons are only just arriving in Poland: tanks, howitzers, attack helicopters, planes, modern Himars launchers, ballistic missiles with a range of over 300 km. and many other modern weapons.
