No, has to be on natural hair. You can get faux locs to see if you like the general style while you're growing out your natural hair. But the relaxed end will have to be cut off (they need 3-4 inches of natural hair)

Human hair?! Fam, stop! If you're choosing locs for spiritual reasons, DO NOT use human hair extensions! You don't know where that hair came from. What's worse, you don't know WHO that hair came from and what spiritual practice they were into. Most of the time human hair bundles includes lots of different people's hair. Can you imagine absorbing all those foreign energies in your hair?! AVOID!
True, but it also depends on what people believe as well. Everyone starts their journey in there own way. Spiritual reasons is def one of them. I pray over everything clothes, house, etc. in my opinion everything that is borrowed has an energy/new . But it’s up to you to change that. With that being said we can’t change the decisions that others made specifically for their own reasons. By all means I truly respect your opinion. You made the decision that best fit for your practices but not everyone will and that is something that we also need to respect. 🌸
Shanese Danae well said! I see so many negative comments in loc extension videos. Why are people so critical of what others do with their hair??? Every journey I have been on with my hair I’ve noticed their is always a group of mean girls ready to pounce and criticize your hair. When I started wearing weaves and wigs the veterans were so nasty and didn’t want to give advice on where to buy good bundles and trash talked women who wore cheaper bundles. When I went natural, the vets would yell scream and stomp their feet that you were not natural if you bleached or colored your hair. We are so hard on each other. I’m getting loc extensions and I don’t give a good gat damn who has something to say about it!!!
I know that’s right Lesley. I am not sure why people are so critical when it comes to hair. At the end of the day it’s just hair it comes and goes. People get attached to things and really should just appreciate that they have it. Because there’s others out there that can’t grow it, suffering from alopecia, chemo, etc. I feel like if we were all good humans the energy that we put into hate would be tarnished. If you’re doing things for spiritual reasons that great but bashing others for not following your path....that’s ruining your own spiritual ora if you ask me🤣🤷🏾♀️ but what do I know. I just try to be a good human out here in these streets.
@@lesleywilliams1717 Firstly I'm not a mean girl. I'm a truth seeker and yes the truth hurts. My comment was specifically for those choosing locs for spiritual reasons. There are those who know the power of African hair and those who don't. I'm not going to educate those who choose to be ignorant rather than do the research before reaching their own conclusion. The fact that you didn't do that shows you as a mean girl. You want extensions? Good for you! I'm trying to reach my brothers and sisters seeking spiritual truth. Peace!
@@ShaneseDanae Honestly speaking, I'm trying to figure out where to begin with your comments. I will try not to make out that I'm better than you because we all have our own imperfections. All I will say is it's so important we get with the current times or we will be left behind as melanated people. We're entering into The Age of Knowledge. Belief systems are dying and have never served us in terms of our liberation. In fact it's put us asleep. It's time to KNOW not believe. Side note: Isn't it interesting that the word 'believe' has the word 'lie' in it. Etymology is fascinating! Secondly, there is no comparison when it comes to African Hair and clothes. No comparison when it comes to African Hair and a house. African Hair are our own antennae just like other natural beings have their own unique type of antennae to navigate on this earth. We send and receive energy information from the Sun, the Universe, the Spiritual Realms using our hair. We put on other people's hair and it blocks that information. It causes confusion. African Hair conducts electricity that's why it coils. Our bodies are electric which is why we need electric food (food empowered by Sun). Find any battery operated device. Look where the battery goes and you'll find that coily wire. That coily wire was inspired by our African Hair! It acts as mediator/energy transmitter with the battery representing the Sun and the device representing our bodies. There is far more information out there on the power of African Hair. I'm just sharing the bare basics bc it's so important to do our own research. We've become lazy as a people. Study different African Spiritual practices especially the Kemetic one. Read, study and gain more KNOWledge. The Universe is giving us plenty of opportunities to do so with these 'lockdowns'. In conclusion, African Hair is not just hair. That's why it's so very different than other people's hair.

What’s the name of the song playing in the introduction?
Do you remember how much time after getting your extensions did it take for them to stop being stiff?
I want to say after I washed it the first time a week or two afterwards 🥰. But sometimes I still feel like it’s still a little stiff in like a few locs but I’m dramatic so it might be in my head 🤣🤣
Shanese Danae - I get it Fran!!! I just wanted to make sure it’s not just me being dramatic lol. You are awesome! I love your channel!!! 💜🥰
Awe thanks Frannnn🥰😆🥰. Thank you for supporting it means a lot

Thanks for watching and supporting my channel 🥰 it means a lot
@@ShaneseDanae your welcome
Do you know where to get permanent 3c loc extensions?
Can I use loc extensions on my relaxed hair or can I just loc my relaxed hair straight up, cus I don't want to cut my hair and start from scratch 🤲🏽
No, has to be on natural hair. You can get faux locs to see if you like the general style while you're growing out your natural hair. But the relaxed end will have to be cut off (they need 3-4 inches of natural hair)

So I want to put my own dreads back in, but I’m worried. Will they slip out. Will they stay after a while?
They shouldn’t slip out if they were attached properly.

@@ShaneseDanae 🥰🙂🙂
Having patience, will cost nothing.
Got me feeling iffy now because my national hair been growing and now some of them looks thinner than the loc extension. 😐 I paid $1350 with style 👀
Nothing to worry about I’m sure. Your hair that is growing still has to go through the budding process 🥰
🖤
🥰🥰🥰
I can't believe women pay so much to get their hair done... wow
Between the wigs, braids, constant visits to the salon. I’m sure it’s a whole lot lol

@@ShaneseDanae you’re welcome 🥰🥰

What's your ig
Xoxo 😚
🌸👑🥰 thanks for watching
The fact anyone spends $1000 on a hair a year???!!! I'm shook!!!!!
So true! But you will be surprised. For those that do a lot of weaves and wigs that totals waaay past $1,000
@@ShaneseDanae wow!!!
😂😂🤣 right!
