Hey Brent. I think your international needs monster flames out of the stacks to compete with Carl's shop rod!!
Ahhh...the sound of brand new duel exaust. No crossovers. True duels. 👍 cherry bombs 💣or walker continentals. Music to my ears
I like leaving the exhaust under the truck. The only downside I can see is blowing up dust when in a loose gravel or dirt area . Stay safe Brent and God bless you and your family !!!! Eddy
Hey Brent, aluminum or any cast wheel is porous by nature. New cast wheels are always clear coated for this reason. The squared surface that contacts the hub always has been machined after the clear coat to assure the "squared" mating surface (so the wheel runs true). Old cast rims whether they're aluminum, magnesium or some other alloy (in my opinion, as I've seen this before with old rims) should be sealed with clear or pigmented paint to seal the inside surface. Also a bead seal compound should be used due to pitting and porosity of the bead mating lip. Hope this helps, in case you're never heard of this before. I worked in wheel and tire assembly for OEM for over 21 years, I've seen brand new wheels with porosity leak issues too! Yep, right here in Detroit, USA! But the wheel are usually from somewhere else!
This guy knows what he's doing
I'm glad to hear that about aluminum wheels. I have 3 porous on my car, driving me nuts. !thanks for the information.😊
Powder coat the wheels. You get the color and they can't leak.
I feel exhausted! Great video and build! Pablo is on alert in the backseat looking for birds
and squirrels!
I vote for leaving the exhaust hidden under the truck.
Me too
Me to
Nice job on the exhaust Brent and i really like the way it sounds. How about a half moon cutout on the bumper for the tips to go through.
Glass packs you either love them or you hate them. I love it! I think it's awesome! The only thing I had a problem with was that the driveway went right by Dad's bedroom window so I'd had to shut the car off at the top of the driveway and coast so I wouldn't wake him and he wouldn't know what time I was getting in. It didn't always work but sometimes.😂
That exhaust went together easily with that expander, nice tool.
I was one of the "no exhaust out the side boards" guys, now I still think stealth dump before the rear bumper.
No notches to spoil the bumper.
The exhaust system sounds great. Not loud but a nice rumble.
Perfect sound, quiet at idle, loader as the engine revs.
Bugs and paint. Have it ready to paint in evening. Turn out all the lights overnight to coax bugs outside. Early next morning before the bugs are active tack off and paint. Works best for me 😊
The truck is looking and sounding great!!
Good clean looking exhaust system, and it sounds killer.
Kudos on the steel guitar soundtrack
I have had just one flat tire incident. The lead weight, used for wheel balance, from someone else s car, broke free and shot in my direction at a high speed. It struck the side of one of my tires and penetrated the rubber, and did so just enough such that half was now inside the tire, and the rest of it was outside. I pulled over and was shocked to see such a thing had happened. I was glad that it hit my tire, and not me. LOL
it all comes out in the end
Great sounding exhaust work, sound great
You have all the cool toys and you have Pablo, life is good.
Aw Brent I wanted see you feed the pups!!
The expander is awesome. It would pay for itself in no time!
Enjoyed your progress and sounds good.
Nice work on the exhaust Brent ,it sounds amazing..
The hidden exhaust is the way to go / Keep it Clean and Low
Very nice work Brent Sounds great
The exhaust looks and sounds great, good job!!!
Sounds Great !!! Pablo Liked it !!
Brent, it sounds awesome
Bead sealer is your friend 😊
Another great video. I really enjoy how you explain what you are doing and why. I learn something new everytime. Thanks.
Man , it looks so good !! Thanks for another , Brother !
Sounds so nice and came out great Thanks for sharing 💯💯👀👀
I heard white walls will bring bad luck when they’re kept to dirty..😎 looking forward to the paint job !!!💯
Awesome job on the exhaust Brent
Nothing but noting beats the sound of a well tuned v8. Its just music. Love it. Goosebumps n all. 😂😂
The Techniques in this video is what makes this channel so Enjoyable. Very instructive to encourage those with the imagination that "Where there is a will; There is a Way" . most Grayifying. Thanks.
The exhaust kit is the only way to go , quick , simple , and sounds gutsy . Leave the tips under the truck and have the bumper clean and solid . the build is looking So Boss , Love It . Stuart in Ontario ..
I like the bumper idea
I like the idea of notch in the bumper like a Dodge 1500.👍
Yeah I'd like to see how he makes the little wrinkle part at the top of the notch too!
I wasn’t sure about the running boards and curved bed when you were doing it. Boy was I wrong. I looks great. And now it sounds great!
The exhaust came out nice. The front pipe angles are 45's. !oops good and sounds good! I really enjoyed that video. Hello Pablo, such a cool dog!😊
Loving watching you put your truck together a great installment. Tell Mrs Ester howdy from the states😂
When the stance is set right that bad bow is a real looker. as good as it gets. High Ester. Be well.
BRENT! YOU DID A SUPER GOOD JOB 👍, AND TO ME! IT HAS RACE CAR SOUND - LIKE AT THE EXHAUST TAIL PIPE 😮
Brent well done on the exhaust system. Take care.
Wow Brent this project has came along way been with ya in Every Vid u posted Sweet ride at this point was kewl when Elio And Karl helped ya
Nice job! Sounds great!
Exhaust looks really good Brent! I like that Vevor expander tool set! Notch the bumper for the exhaust. Enjoying the tunes as well.
Truck sounds great Brent. Nice mod of the pipe expander. Really checking things off on this great lookin truck.
Love the exhaust pipe well done
I clean the wheel then put a thin coat of wheel bearing grease on the bead area . No air , no oxidation. Never had a leak .
As usual, you make everything look easy. ..Thanks for all you”re doing
Great video. Really nice work on the exhaust. Love these kinds of "how-to" videos. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Like the new music 😊 Love this build.
Hello Brent, exhaust looks great, and sounds awesome. Nice job. 👍👍👍
Awesome as Always... Wow That was ......... Exhausting ^^ ok I'll go get my coat :D
Same kit i got and did single exhaust on my c10 and f150 4x4 with a Flowmaster on both had the u bins leftover. With the l e d lights you may have trouble with the blinker i had to get a electronic one and dam you guys up north pay a lot more for your stuff my kit was only $139.99
You are very talented!! Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 😊
Great work. Awesome truck I have watched all of your videos, like em to say the least, if you don't mind my opinion on the exhaust is the fact that the back of truck looks so good now it really doesn't need the pipes coming out the back, I like it as is just my opinion. It is a pleasure watching you get things done keep up the good work. Also the music is awesome as well. Take care!!!
Great job on the exhaust
I would have been tempted to do turn downs ahead of the axle, or turn downs behind the bumper, and cut flush with the bottom of the bumper. I've done it both ways on cars and trucks. Both work great for a cheap, quick, and dirty set up. A high compression big block with a nice lopey cam sounds good with turn downs ahead of the axle. The sound echoing off the ground shakes the ground and sets off car alarms 50 feet away, or 15-15.5 meters for my northerly neighbors.
I love what you do, and share with us . I especially appreciate your tool explanations , descriptions and where to find them on a budget. Thank You Brent !
I'll go with other comments on here Brent and leave the bumper as it is and have the exhaust as you have got it it keeps the clean look at the back
Minty !
Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out .
Later ...
Nice job Brent ,well done!
You make a guy miss his old banshee what a rush maybe time I find another
Brent excellent exhaust system work. Sounds really good. Thanks for sharing as always! 💯👊👍💕
I'm a fan of the Dodge truck bumper/exhaust style with the half circle clearance for the pipes.
Thanks for showing the update to that exhaust expander too! I wanted to get one, but hesitated after seeing your struggles. Good idea with the air over hydraulic. Looks like it works really well now!
Same here, it adds to the CUSTOM look
My vote is leave exhaust hidden. Truck is looking really good. 👍
I feel
Like no one is good at exhaust unless that’s your one job, but you did a nice job there
Id give you a heads up on the led but you'll find out, nice pipes though
Pipes are awesome...You could convert your old small shop into a full filtered paint booth & spray in there...yeah !
I've wondered why he doesn't do that or make the old shop the bondo sanding dust shop! He had a paint booth in his last big shop but didn't use it all the time. He painted the white 36(?) Ford in there but painted the brown 38 poncho (my favorite of his cars!) just out in the open shop.
Sounds amazing ! ! Id leave it like if is or so out the sides in the back .the clean bumper look is definitely better !
My 2cents .. if you go thru the bumper space the fully round holes in (towards licence plate) spaced the same distance in as your brake lights are spaced (as if the brakes lights were continuing, but on the bumber)
I think she sounds good Brent, awesome bud 👍👍🤙🏻
Brent next time your at a construction site see if you can pick up the left overs or discarded Reybar it’s used for reinforcing concrete and such like. It’s perfect for making exhaust hangers. Somebody I no had the Chevy sign at the ends of his tail pipes on his 56 Chevy. You no the bow tie. I wouldn’t cut that bumper though. Take care. Tim.
That sounds sweet. But I think hidden exhaust.
Excellent video Brent :) , if tires go flat or valve leaks again try put black Gasket Mender around ribs on tires and rubber on vavle hole then blow up to half pressure you use like 15 for 30 PSI it will help and let set for 1 hour then install on vechile pump up to PSI pressure use ! Also I like exhaust and nice sound that always like not terrible loud too or Lightning Strike sounds not my favorite!
Very nice job on the pipes, yeah they sound OK but no big cam lope??? The whole truck looks so darn good. It's gonna make a beautiful Drone video!!!!! Now that Top, I think that is gonna just POP! It will be so cool to see you two cruising down the road!! Take Care Thank You, Dennis PS I have a friend building a 49 Merc Custom, and he put the exhaust outlet in the corner of his bumper Wide Banana cut that looks pretty darn cool and leaves the rear smooth.
good show Brent Keep on Truckin😎👍
With Aluminum rims you can use epoxy to help seal them better. Their poros rims, that's why their prone to leak over time, the epoxy helps seal the porosity that causes the rims to leak in the first place. BTW I would go with the exhaust tips sticking out of the Bumper a bit. that would look much better in my opinion. If that helps ya at all. Cheers see ya on the next one Brent. btw she's sounds good.
Some electric cutouts under the front fender would be awesome!
Thank you for the entertainment Brent!
Like the clean look on rear bumpers. Prefer exhaust coming under fenders. 😊
Nice job looks great 👍
Soapy water is your friend, Brent!
Don't hesitate to have the dogs in the videos More! I think I speak for All of us when I say. Ee love Pablo and Buddy!😊
Thanks very much the expander info. I too, am a humble consumer of Mr. Daniel's fine Tennessee sippin' whiskey. I think chome tips would mess with the stainless vibe, plus the bumber really finishes it as is, plus carbon on the rear.
dump pipes are the way to go
You could cut straps out of tire side walls, then fab metal attachments on each end!
😂 You made poor Pablo sit in the back at the end 🤣
If you run the exhaust system out the bumper think about putting spark plugs in the exhaust to make flames come out.
Enjoyed the video. Always find it educational and entertaining.
Like, share and keep telling your one friend to watch. 🤔😃
The word you're looking for sir. Is chamfer. Ir chamfering 👌
Exhaust looks good! Under bumper, how about flattening pipe and leaving end oval. Would look ok.
I would leave them under. Enjoyed the video.
Without knowing anything about CAD or Fastcut, I would have thought that you might have been able to scan the gasket into the computer and make an exact copy
Top job brent sounds nice
You got round lights a cut out would good with chrome tips
Leave bumper as is. Looks good
I think it would look cool with the exhaust coming out of the side running boards but it would be super loud for driving long distance especially with cherry bombs
You should get the self darkening glasses like I have. No helmet required. They are completely clear until you strike the arc.
