Gosh! What is a human life worth? That is a reasonable and rational question.

      nothing.
You can see that from what is happening close to this canal.

@@bertjesklotepinoI didn’t see all the video yet to know why your saying close it.
But I still can tell you the price of human life. Be it if it’s open or closed. It’s still nothing.
The only time a price is put on it. Is only to keep from an outrage. A make people or someone feel like that was something recouped from said life.

      you misunderstood me.
I mean to say the following:
A human life is worth nothing and you can see that just by looking at a particular area close to this canal.
      An area closeby.
      Or state, i should say.
      And no, not Egypt.
Anyway, that state shows you how much the life of a human is worth.
      Nada.

Seriously though, homeless guys set fire to the DOT's storage of HDPE under a massive interstate overpass and all twelve lanes on the two bridges collapsed. It took a month to rebuild it.

At 8:18 the interesting part of the registration starts (ships speed is increased to compensate for crosswind) but in this video this part is skipped. And how much was the crosswind ? What is the max speed in the canal for this size of ships ? What was the actual speed on the moment of running aground ? All the questions I had about the Ever Given incident are not given.

Well, I remember when a way between Egypt and Israel closed the canal for years. Back then, the ships were much smaller and the canal was built in a era with even smaller ships. The canal hasn't kept up with the times and it coping by stop gaps like one way traffic. Time to consider another channel. N.B.: the Panama canal seems to be upgrading and alternatives are being seriously explored.

2:37 my biggest question is why they couldn't get mobile crane on site to off load the ship lighten up the load to free it up?!

    • @amoaco
      @amoaco 2 месяца назад +1

its not that easy in fact its way harder than u think , coz they were thinking about it but there main issue if they start take load off part of the ship, it might break in half due to the wight on the other end , so its not to be done easy and u have to do it from both ends and the middle in the same time. now given there 20000 on this ship that make this even harder to do it fast and in the right way.

a ship getting stuck after getting pushed by the wind isnt an engineering mistake. people driving things and crashing them isnt engineering mistakes. not every failure is a mistake. people on youtube arent experts on events they didnt experience
