I fixed a previous one and it was the pump that needed replacing. Actually I am not sure it really did but when I took the pump apart to check for scale etc. because it was not pumping, I lost a little part of a non return valve, so had to buy another pump. Anyway it cured it. Pumps are generic parts easy to locate.
Hi Alex, I’ve got a steam elite to fix that’s the model without auto clean function but has intellitemp. It’s not sucking water up from the water tank to go into boiler, so I’m going to give it a go fixing it as I think it’s a limescale problem possibly with the rubber you mentioned in earlier video? I’m in Horley in Surrey so it quite a hard water area. Been using 50/50 with de ironised water. Do you recommend using 100% de ironised water with these irons as just brought the new auto clean model but need the other for back up as ironing from home is my job. I’ve been through so so many of these irons as they’re the best for the job but I only get a few months out of them, so I need to start fixing them myself really. Thanks for your videos, given me the confidence to try fixing myself 👍
Mine is not heating the iron or opening the soleniod to let through steam. But the pump operates occasionally and the boiler heats up fine and cuts out when hot. The iron element and switch check out fine wth a resistance tester. I suspect scaling up of a valve or pipe but why would that stop the iron element heating? My model is 330022. Does not have the 2nd solenoid that you show.
Update on this. I have disassembled a lot and it's all in good condition with almost no scale. The one solenoid works fine when connected to a mains socket rather then via the control PCB. It fills the boiler, heats up fine and powers off when up to temperature. It refills if a lot of steam is drawn off. So I am left wth no power to the iron's element and no solenoid action via the PCB. Would I be correct then to blame the PCB rather than anything else? Despite the fact that all the lights work entirely as expected.
Hello. My iron is constantly steaming. Any ideas as to why, I've descaled it but it's just steaming constantly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
I'd either the button on the handle has failed in the on position or the steam solenoid has failed. Sorry not much help. If it's still in warranty phone and ask for a new one
Hi Alex. I can’t find the video I messaged you on a few days ago. I’m a woman and never had to do anything like this but always willing to try. My iron is only steaming for a few seconds then stops. I removed the base unit. I looked at the part number for the red solenoid and it’s arrived but it’s totally different even though the details on the part are identical. I can send you pics and would really appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks in advance.
Hi Alex, I've changed the solenoid as you've suggested in one of your previous videos, but now it doesn't stop steaming without me pressing the trigger button. I can hear the clicking button on the actual iron handle but no function just non-stop steaming with some water coming out, I thought I may have had the connections wrong way round for the solenoid but its the same as yours so I'm not sure what it could be down to.. waited for 15 mins no change, any ideas?
Just fixed mine. The replacement solenoid was a Jiayin JYZ-3 normally closed, got it off amazon for £18. Works a treat. Cheers for the video
Are these parts 12v?

Thank you for the video
@namratavideos watch my other videos, it shows how to open up the iron and the base

My missus only uses RO DI water in her irons. She only irons for people 2 day's a week and they still break down.
Where did you get the pipe from

Have a look through my videos probably easier to subscribe, there all iron one's are in the same folder
Hi Alex, where do you get your parts from? I'm trying to find a replacment water level switch but cannot find one anywhere.
Get a second hand iron and use the parts from that, loads on second hand sites

I had similar problem and had to change the main circuit board with a spare
