Awesome tour. Couple of quick questions: if I wanted to, would I be able to swap out those AGM batteries for lithium ion batteries? Why don't more American RV manufacturers offer solar as standard instead of shore power?
Any battery system can be converted. The system doesn’t care what “kind” of 12 volts it uses, as long as its 12 volts. Lead acid, AGM, Lithium will all supply the required voltage, but each offer different properties on how the voltage is delivered. Each has pros/cons, cost usually being the biggest decision factor currently (since lithium is sorta a newer technology in the RV world). The manufacturer doesn’t want to put in pricey batteries, cutting profit margin nor does the buyer want to pay big bucks for it when they are just gonna go to a park and plug in. Most people buying this type of 5th wheel aren’t really off grid type buyers that would need a full on solar system; they usually go to parks or campgrounds that offer shore power or order the RV with a generator. I’m sure you can option out a full solar system if you wanted to though.
@@talonpilot One major issue to investigate is the charger they supply. For lithium batteries, the charger must have the option to set the maximum voltage of the charger, and the charger cannot have an automatic equalization mode enabled.
Need to make a model with the slide on the camp side where the sofa is deleted and a side patio put on. One draw to a typical toy hauler is the patio feature. I’ve looked at a lot of rv’s and have never seen one with this feature. Please reply.

I love this unit, if I were going to RV full time, this or the FK without the Toyhauler would be my pick. If I had property with a large Propane tank, or natural gas, could this unit be hooked up to that and convert back to tanks for traveling?

If you are connected to satellite, internet, SORRY but you ARE ON THE GRID! It’s not you fault, because the term “OFF GRID “ is falsely used! Off Grid means no one can find, locate, email you or if you have a cell phone you are most definitely on the grid and YES if you have anything to do with YOU TUBE you are on the grid!

Interesting floor plan. Biggest living room I've ever seen in a toy hauler. But I don't need a kitchen that's larger than my home's!

This is our choice of RV, looking at full timing soon and this rig is set up to be a boon docking boss!! Price point?
I saw another video where it said price was normally about 124,000 and msrp was 154,000

Do they have different floor plans where the galley is midships the bed is up in the bow and runs with the centerline .
