I started watching these videos about two months ago and I have been doing alot of thinking about my life. I've went back to God and I want to thank Phil and his family for putting me back on the right path like I was on ten years ago. I remember why I stepped off the path and since then I have put those people from church out of my daily life. Every man deserves a good woman, pick wisely and you both will be so happy, but you have to have God in your lives. God bless us all, and for Mr Phil and his family. Because of that show, then these videos I am back with my true brothers and sisters of Christ our Lord. Amen
I love how Phil is so silent when Miss. Kay is around. You know Phil is a loving husband when he doesn't want to talk and let's Miss Kay do all the talking 🙂.
I am very much looking forward to Kay and Lisa's book coming out next year. I love that Lisa said it is a book aimed at women but it is also a book that is not against men. That seems to be so hard to find in todays world. Society has turned against manly men, men that walk in faith and provide for their families. Thank goodness for the Robertson's showing the world it is good to love God, it is good to get back to your roots and be kind to your neighbors and give to your community. I love this podcast.
Hey Lisa and Miss Kay ! I’m so glad you brought up the subject of forgiving YOURSELF!! The HARDEST person to forgive is yourself, or at least for me it was !! It’s such an important thing for everyone to know 😳 Also things, losses etc can be so traumatizing it can absolutely take your voice away 🥲
I’ve learned to look for uplifting and humorous content rather than constant listening to doom/gloom stuff. Try to leave it in God’s hands. God is in control.
Please consider, nowhere in Scripture does God tell us to forgive ourselves. We are to rest in the forgiveness of our Lord. When we do that, we can bring glory to Him for His complete forgiveness of our sins. Love you Lisa and Kaye

Looking forward to the Sister Roar book! For so long, I didn’t want to talk about my divorce. None of the people in my bubble of homeschooling moms and church friends were divorced and I didn’t want to be defined by it. But I’ve learned that I want to use it as a platform to point to God’s goodness and grace. Mrs. Kay, I want you to know the inspiration you are. I fought for my marriage. When my husband suddenly announced he was leaving, I looked up and wrote down every verse in the Bible on marriage. I prayed, fasted and believed. He never came back and remarried. Nine years later, I can testify that God has been a husband to the husbandless and always met our needs and protected us.
Kathy you are living "smartly" and I am very proud of you! Hold tight to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They will take such great care of you and yours. Holy Father I pray for Kathy and her family, protect, provide and bless her in all her needs. In Jesus Christ's name I pray and give thanks and praise; AMEN!!!

I so enjoyed this. I have listened to all the podcasts and am now going through them again. I am very very similar to Lisa except I’m 30 and live in upstate NY. I appreciate her honesty and love that I can relate to her. She made me tear up saying once you’re saved you have a voice. Love you all!
Miss Lisa, yours and Al's story has helped my husband and I to get past and forgive like Jesus .....to seek wise counsel and are learning to not be afraid to step out into our story. We have began a RUclips channel @Back to the arms of Jesus and its just our journey the last year after 5 years of God pouring into us and maturing us to our calling as a married couple and as one. We both recovered and was rescued from alcohol abuse and drug addiction years ago and have thought that was our calling for so long only no doors opened other than a few rehab centers we could share our story that is now His Story and Glory. We watch yall all and every couple we can draw from. Thank you Lisa for being so vulnerable and transparent. It encourages women like me. I'm sure there's more than me out there. It's one thing to get thru it with your marriage but to have ALL your family beside you still is only God's love for you miss Lisa ❤ .....🙌🙏we pray for yall always! Miss Kay your beautiful and strong as heck!!! The real pioneer woman!!!
Miss Kay is right about laughing. I have learned to laugh at myself. If I do something stupid I don't get overly upset about it, but put it in its proper perspective. I look up to Heaven with a smile on my face and say, "Father did you see that? And I am one of your preachers? You must not have much to work with".
Thank you Al for showing your parents respect by calling them Mom and Dad. I love your brothers but it bothers me they call their parents by there names. I watched the show when it was talked about but even the grandkids call the by name. As a true southern girl we were never allowed to do that. I am 55 and I still call people Mrs. or Mr. and there first name is I know them. I am also a yes Sir, yes mam to all ages. Once again thank you for showing respect to your mom and dad. A voice said “it’s a pre-test to see how you and other Christians will react.” It was chilling but also a reminder to stay the course. 🙏🏻
I'm. Glad to know Miss Kay is doing better. I had a similar experience. A radiator hose blew up in my face. Fortunately for me, I was wearing a pair of prescription glasses that spared my eves. If I hadn't been wearing them, my eyes would have been welded shut. I had second degree burns and loss layers of skin and my chin was white. But, all in all I faired pretty well, considering the ordeal. ThankYOU JESUS, for saving us and keeping us close to YOU, LORD!! AMEN...🐟
