      Its the same for me, highs are more difficult for me to do but lows and gutturals are much easier and sound better for me hopefully once I figure out false chord that problem could be fixed

    I'm genuinely so convinced I just will never be able to do any type of metal scream. Every single time I try to combine all the steps together, my voice completely stops making any noise at all. When I try to do it slightly differently, all goes well before I actually start saying words, and then it just sounds like I'm singing emotionlessly, and it doesn't even sound like metal at all; it just sounds like I'm going "uuuhhhhhh" in a weird pitch. Is it possible some people's voices just can't do a single metal-related scream?

      Few things i have found that might help you: I have found with false cord and now fry screams that at first i always try too hard. i try too hard for volume and too long a duration. I found doing Kargyraa helped find my false cord engagement feeling. Another thing i found is the emotional content is important, i am not saying that you have to actually get angry to make these sounds, but even acting out hand movements, and facial expressions can help produce the sound. If you want to sound like a seared skeleton flying from the pits of hell, it cant hurt letting your eyes bulge and veins pop a little bit. Also make sure you are in a space that is conducive to singing. I find personally if i feel apprehension about who is listening to me, or i feel self aware it dramatically effects my singing. Having a space where you can feel comfortable exploring what your voice can do is irreplaceably important. Singing when i am driving alone has been very valuable to my progression. Don't give up. You can do it. Little bit everyday. Hope that helps

      Put one hand on your stomach and one on your chest. If when you inhale your stomach stays mostly still and your chest rises you're using your chest and not your diaphragm.

    • @KyOte13
      @KyOte13 2 года назад

      It's takes A LOT of time & practice... it really is a matter of putting the time in, cuz your voice is not gonna automatically sound good, you have to build up breath support & stamina... at the same time, you are learning the correct feeling in your mouth and throat to make the sounds you want, and that cool sound your looking to hear is not something you just FIND... it is something that DEVELOPS and takes time to build. Just keep at it

    Why do black metal have these kind of raspy vocals? The only black metal I like is more screaming vocals like Burzum and Kampfar

    • @daienaa
      @daienaa 2 года назад

      @Blashorn But isn’t black metal vocals shrieking? I heard so many with the screaming vocals like Azaghal, Spectral Wound, Sargeist, Akitsa and more.

    • @CZuskia
      @CZuskia 2 года назад

      @@daienaa Shrieking vocals aren’t mandatory in Black Metal. However, they are commonly associated with it because of how many bands use them. Any scream, as long as it is “kvlt enough” is acceptable in Black Metal.

    • @daienaa
      @daienaa 2 года назад +1

      @@CZuskia Yes when I started to get into black metal I was listening to Immortal and Mayhem, and I hated the raspy goblin vocals so I was 100% sure black metal was not for me. But then I found Burzum and wow his vocals are awesome! Then I found Sargeist and Spectral Wound, love it and sounds nothing like Immortal. It’s like Mayhem and Importal is some other genre or something. I mean it’s strange that something in the same genre can sound so different - like crap/really amazing.
      So when I hear those raspy throat singing vocals, I stop listening and try to search for raw black metal which usually sounds good. My new found amazing bands that I can’t stop listening to are:
      Behexen - Rituale Satanum, Horna, Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and Filisofem and Aske. Akitsa - Goetie and Mutillation - Remains of Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul.

      I appreciate your support in the past but it's obvious I'm in no position to get another bike and on top of it all it's not like I no longer have my bikes by choice, I can assure you I'd much rather still have them and be able to make content here and there but thats not reality. You might not have intended to be negative but taking the time to comment what you did implies that you're complaining and is inherently negative. I get you miss the old moto content but there's nothing I can do presently to fix that so instead I'm gonna still try to enjoy making content about other things I enjoy. You don't have to watch them as I understand the majority of people are here from the previous content. I'll have another dual sport/SM eventually and continue the MV content but don't see that happening anytime soon.
