Actually since the super dragon balls can grant “any wish” and can reverse zenos erasure it’s safe to say the super dragon balls are much more powerful then Zeno and maybe even the grand priest and as we now know the dragon balls can only be as powerful as the creator and taking that into account when Zeno erased 6/7 it’s safe to say zalama wasn’t erased.

What if piccolo is secretly zalama. I know it sounds crazy but listen. Katas his father was briefly mentioned if it was a similar procedure to how piccolo sr birthed jr,He retained his memories and once he split from Kami he lost them or lost them prior after seeing all the evil in the earth.

We don't have any proof if Zalama is Namekian. The Namekians themselves said the Super Dragon Balls are the original ones and they copied them to create their owns.
Nice theory there can be one variation though 1) he created dragonballs and then split himself into two or more bodies. One body lives in universe 6 and another in universe 7 so till the time at least one body lives Dragonballs stay active. (Unlike Kami who created Dragonball after splitting himself) Now this number 2 is just an assumption 2) nail (now fused with piccolo jr.) could be one of the body that's probably why nail insisted so much to fuse with piccolo jr. You see mail was really strong compared to average namekian (Guru said he was a fighter class and not a dragon class - but that might be just a lie to hide his true abilities.) And since every namekian in universe 6 fused into 2 bodies it could be either one of those (maybe universe 6 zalma half further went on to divide himself and strategically choose to be in multiple bodies. Or maybe all namekians are basically splits from zalma only)
So if Universe 7 got wiped, according to your brilliant detective work, the main prize fke the tournament of power would have been non-existent. Stellar job!
Namekians are descendants of Zalama. But I think Zalama exists in a pocket dimension of his own making. He’s just waiting for his moment to be able to try to take hold of the universes one day. He’s essentially a celestial “trickster”

I thought the same thing as I rewatched it, this also means that the Zeno’s knew universe 7 would win because why else would they have the super dragon balls as the prize. Unless they knew about the creator of the SDB’s and would have exempted him from being erased if U7 lost but that does seem likely but it also isn’t impossible. I believe that after the manga ends they will bring out a light novel that shows picollo being sent back in time either by the gods, the super dragon balls or the time machine having a malfunction, causing picollo to be sent so far bacl that the only ones around are the gods, then picollo would ask if he could use the super dragon balls to return to his time, to which the grand priest would ask what that is, leading to picollo having to be the one to create the dragon balls using kami's knowledge along with using most of his ki to create them since picollo is going to be much stronger than he currently is in his orange picollo transformation, he takes up the name "zalama" as he doesn't want anyone from his time to realise that he was sent back in time as it could cause the time stream to be altered, the main reason i believe this is because 1) picollo is getting close to the level of some gods already. 2) he has knowledge of the eternal dragon and how to make the dragon balls. 3) As mentioned he most likely lives in universe 7. 4) picollo has to ability to tie his life force to shenron which is needed to have the dragon balls functioning properly.
This would create a reason Zeno did what Zeno did to figure this out awesome theory. For it's up to the writers but diffently would make a great story line.

The angels weren't effected by the deletion. It's possible to conclude that he was excluded for the tournament's conditions as well, especially since the super dragon balls' wish was the prize.
I don't think Zalama is in any of the Universes. The Zenos are in a realm of their own, set apart from the Universes. I think Zalama has his own realm. He may be the true god over the Dragon Ball reality. Perhaps the Zenos and the angels can't even make contact with him. There must be some intrinsic connection between Zalama and the Nemekians of Universes 6 & 7, given that they both share the two sets of Super Dragon Balls and also have their own sets of Namekians with their own sets of Dragon Balls. However, what that connection may be is unknown. Most likely, Zalama is the first Namekian, and all other Namekians are born from him. If that be the case, then the fact that the Namekians are considered magical in nature and mysterious (referring to the first two seasons of DBZ), this may be because they are literally descendents of the in-canon god over everything; also consider that when a Namekian is guardian of their planet (which also implies they have Dragon Balls of their own), they are referred to as a god. Yes, Kais exist above them, but what if above all Kais, above all angels, and above the Almighty Zeno is one whose power eclipses even that of Zeno. The only way one could test this theory is by using the Super Dragon Balls to delete Zeno from reality altogether: if that wish is beyond the power of Super Shenron then we know Zalama is not stronger than Zeno, and if it does work than he is. Similarly, one could use the Super Dragon Balls to attempt to delete all of the angels (including the High Priest angel) and/or Zeno: if it works then he's greater than the angels and/or Zeno, and if not then he's not. If not, then Zalama is at or above the level of a god of destruction in terms of power and/or divine prestige, but not at the level of the angels and/or Zeno. Personally, until we find out any further information, I think Zalama is written to be what Kami was in the original Dragon Ball (but over the multiverse and/or the sum total of all possible multiverses, rather than merely just over Earth). If this be the case, then no timeline-hopping and no amount of power-gain/wishing will make Frieza or Goku & co. able to escape the watchful eye and inconceivable power of the *true* god of Dragon Ball. Maybe Piccolo can take his role in the future for some unknown plot purpose and Vegeta can become the god of destruction of the multiverse and Goku can become the High Priest or something, I dunno.

Actually since the super dragon balls can grant “any wish” and can reverse zenos erasure it’s safe to say the super dragon balls are much more powerful then Zeno and maybe even the grand priest and as we now know the dragon balls can only be as powerful as the creator and taking that into account when Zeno erased 6/7 it’s safe to say zalama wasn’t erased.

He is most likely near both universes, since they are twins. Someone stated in the dragon dimension, which could be located in between universe 6 and 7. I am thinking something like that, but within the void between 6 and 7. Then the super dragon balls would show up only in 6 and 7.

Nice theory there can be one variation though
1) he created dragonballs and then split himself into two or more bodies. One body lives in universe 6 and another in universe 7 so till the time at least one body lives Dragonballs stay active. (Unlike Kami who created Dragonball after splitting himself)
Now this number 2 is just an assumption
2) nail (now fused with piccolo jr.) could be one of the body that's probably why nail insisted so much to fuse with piccolo jr. You see mail was really strong compared to average namekian (Guru said he was a fighter class and not a dragon class - but that might be just a lie to hide his true abilities.)
And since every namekian in universe 6 fused into 2 bodies it could be either one of those (maybe universe 6 zalma half further went on to divide himself and strategically choose to be in multiple bodies. Or maybe all namekians are basically splits from zalma only)
Before toriyama left he basically restored a lot of potential content and died.

Unless they knew about the creator of the SDB’s and would have exempted him from being erased if U7 lost but that does seem likely but it also isn’t impossible. Also if someone was responsible for creating the multi verse who created the zenos and gave them the power to destroy the multi verse.

I believe that after the manga ends they will bring out a light novel that shows picollo being sent back in time either by the gods, the super dragon balls or the time machine having a malfunction, causing picollo to be sent so far bacl that the only ones around are the gods, then picollo would ask if he could use the super dragon balls to return to his time, to which the grand priest would ask what that is, leading to picollo having to be the one to create the dragon balls using kami's knowledge along with using most of his ki to create them since picollo is going to be much stronger than he currently is in his orange picollo transformation, he takes up the name "zalama" as he doesn't want anyone from his time to realise that he was sent back in time as it could cause the time stream to be altered, the main reason i believe this is because 1) picollo is getting close to the level of some gods already. 2) he has knowledge of the eternal dragon and how to make the dragon balls. 3) As mentioned he most likely lives in universe 7. 4) picollo has to ability to tie his life force to shenron which is needed to have the dragon balls functioning properly.

The angels weren't effected by the deletion. It's possible to conclude that he was excluded for the tournament's conditions as well, especially since the super dragon balls' wish was the prize.
I don't think Zalama is in any of the Universes. The Zenos are in a realm of their own, set apart from the Universes. I think Zalama has his own realm. He may be the true god over the Dragon Ball reality. Perhaps the Zenos and the angels can't even make contact with him. There must be some intrinsic connection between Zalama and the Nemekians of Universes 6 & 7, given that they both share the two sets of Super Dragon Balls and also have their own sets of Namekians with their own sets of Dragon Balls. However, what that connection may be is unknown. Most likely, Zalama is the first Namekian, and all other Namekians are born from him. If that be the case, then the fact that the Namekians are considered magical in nature and mysterious (referring to the first two seasons of DBZ), this may be because they are literally descendents of the in-canon god over everything; also consider that when a Namekian is guardian of their planet (which also implies they have Dragon Balls of their own), they are referred to as a god. Yes, Kais exist above them, but what if above all Kais, above all angels, and above the Almighty Zeno is one whose power eclipses even that of Zeno. The only way one could test this theory is by using the Super Dragon Balls to delete Zeno from reality altogether: if that wish is beyond the power of Super Shenron then we know Zalama is not stronger than Zeno, and if it does work than he is. Similarly, one could use the Super Dragon Balls to attempt to delete all of the angels (including the High Priest angel) and/or Zeno: if it works then he's greater than the angels and/or Zeno, and if not then he's not. If not, then Zalama is at or above the level of a god of destruction in terms of power and/or divine prestige, but not at the level of the angels and/or Zeno.
Personally, until we find out any further information, I think Zalama is written to be what Kami was in the original Dragon Ball (but over the multiverse and/or the sum total of all possible multiverses, rather than merely just over Earth). If this be the case, then no timeline-hopping and no amount of power-gain/wishing will make Frieza or Goku & co. able to escape the watchful eye and inconceivable power of the *true* god of Dragon Ball. Maybe Piccolo can take his role in the future for some unknown plot purpose and Vegeta can become the god of destruction of the multiverse and Goku can become the High Priest or something, I dunno.
