The yellow and green look so cool together, Riah, the green part reminds me of a spider creature that is crawling toward the yellow creature. Beautifully done.
Ok Riah, you “know” me. I’ve been here a while and I gotta say… this is CLEAN! It’s a simple design that’s relatively easy to do, but the finesse in the way you executed it speaks volumes to your mastery of the craft. What method are you using with thickened the dye??? My thickened dye doesn’t both penetrate and stay where I put it. It does one or the other.
Also curious…. Do you thicken the urea mix first or or do you mix the dye and sodium alginate with the urea water at the same time? I generally mix both together but it makes a mess of my immersion blender.
Thanks Jason! For this shirt I only added sodium alginate to the water and I did 2 tsp in a half gallon. It was really thick so it took a Lot to saturate but I was going for crisp lines. Next time I think I would dial it back some. I hope this helps😊💜
Hi Riah, very cool. I have done a horizontal and vertical wigwag on my channel. I've never thought of trying to do a diagonal and I love your color choices. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work.
Hello, I love your content, I have a question, do I have to wet the shirt or the fabric before applying the color? Or is it not necessary? (female) Hello, I love your content, I have a question, do I have to wet the shirt or the fabric before applying the color? Or is it not necessary?
So I got the needle tip bottles but when I put the dye on The Damp shirt it bleeds and runs everywhere. Is this an issue of a crappy needle tip bottle or a crappy dye LOL help!! 😂
Now that is .... SUPER , SUPER DUPER ! Love it
Thanks so much Bill!😊💚

Thank you! I found some luer lock bottles and tips from Amazon and yes all of the dye in this video is thick dye.

Hi! Thanks! I prewash all of my shirts and this one was damp when I tied and dyed it ☺️💙
Just tried this but on a kids shirt with tulip dye lol will be a mess. Whaf dye do you use and how do you get the bottle to squirt so precise.??
I use fiber reactive dyes and I also use needle tip bottles 😊
So....did you do the same pattern on the back side???
Yes!
Lovelynewbir here
Thank you! And welcome to my channel! ❤️
Do you have any long sleeve shirts for sale in your shop 2xl
I don’t at the moment but I do custom orders. If you’d like you can go to my website and use the contact page to email me ☺️💜
I wanted to try this technique but it came out a different way. I will get another shirt later to try this again.
Yeah they can be confusing at first but you’ll get it! 😊💚
Is that a Croptop? How possible it's not overlapping when u fold it in half?
It’s definitely not a crop top ☺️💚
@@RiahsTieDye just a short shirt? I tried folding it the same way u did. On a regular shirt But the bottom part was way to long
@@MrKevinLee no this was a regular 3XL T-shirt. You may just have to adjust where you’re folding.
So I got the needle tip bottles but when I put the dye on The Damp shirt it bleeds and runs everywhere. Is this an issue of a crappy needle tip bottle or a crappy dye LOL help!! 😂
It’s not the bottle you may need to thicken your dye with sodium alginate
