I just found you! Love this tutorial. One thing I do is, once I have my ruler where I want it and draw my line on bottom, I draw a line on top as well. Cuts your time and movement in Half!!

Wonderful! I have been following you for a while now and you do a great job explaining everything. As a quilter for many years I too use a lot of math. I find a quilting ruler very handy for giving me accurate measurements I’m hoping this will help me with getting my pleats better.

Looks really good. I've been having issues using my green dyes. They yellow has been washing out and leaving the green a turquoise color. Didn't have that issue in the summer. But now it's winter here in Cincinnati. I have been having problems.
It’s hard to get the batch temps up. Have you tried my heating blanket method? Look in the tie dye tools playlist. Increase your temp and batch for 48 hours and see if that helps. ❤️🌈

I’d sell it for $100. Soda ash is 100% necessary. No idea what machine you’re talking about. I don’t recommend rushing the process. That’s just me. Watch a lot of tutorials. ♥️🌈

I love your designs. I believe the ruler is 1 inch wide you could just lay the ruler against the previous line and draw on opposite side of ruler to get 1 inch parallel lines 😅

I believe it’s used for beading and crafting. I got it from Amazon. It comes in many different colors. I chose pink because it’s my favorite color, but I believe it’s all the same. There is a link for it in the description box. Ace Hardware sells kite string. Amazon also carries kite string. Hope this helps. ☺️❤️🌈

I don’t think it would be as defined. The other tutorial you commented on is the same fold with different dye placement but it’s ice. You can see for yourself the difference. ❤️🌈
If you are trying to make them the lines an inch a part you can pretty much just use the width of ur ruler unless you want it really really exact cuz rulers are 1.33 inches in width.
The width of your ruler looks to be 1 inch. You could put the bottom of it on the previous line and draw your next one along the top. Parallel and even!

I do this with panels 1 to 3 feet square of white Kona Cotton fabric and trying to pull those apart...well first trying to figure out which side is the fold side to even know where to pull it apart without wearing the dye you are rinsing is kind of a pain. Congrats! You broke 1000 subs!
I’ve seen some people opening tapestries on Facebook and yes, they look like they are wearing the dye after! 😂 I’ve yet to make a tapestry, but soon... so I’ll be joining the club. There is something called a parallel rule, used in ship navigation, which may help with your marking out. (It is like two rulers linked together.)

The meter stick you're using they're usually an inch wide. This might have helped speed the process.

What is the trick to good saturation? So many of my shirts have more white than i want it to

When the kite string wicks he dye, how does that effect the shirt?

I believe it’s used for beading and crafting. I got it from Amazon. It comes in many different colors. I chose pink because it’s my favorite color, but I believe it’s all the same. There is a link for it in the description box. Ace Hardware sells kite string. Amazon also carries kite string. Hope this helps. ☺️❤️🌈

I don’t think it would be as defined. The other tutorial you commented on is the same fold with different dye placement but it’s ice. You can see for yourself the difference. ❤️🌈

If you are trying to make them the lines an inch a part you can pretty much just use the width of ur ruler unless you want it really really exact cuz rulers are 1.33 inches in width.

The width of your ruler looks to be 1 inch. You could put the bottom of it on the previous line and draw your next one along the top. Parallel and even!

I do this with panels 1 to 3 feet square of white Kona Cotton fabric and trying to pull those apart...well first trying to figure out which side is the fold side to even know where to pull it apart without wearing the dye you are rinsing is kind of a pain. Congrats! You broke 1000 subs!
I’ve seen some people opening tapestries on Facebook and yes, they look like they are wearing the dye after! 😂 I’ve yet to make a tapestry, but soon... so I’ll be joining the club. Thank you, yes I have broken through the first RUclips hurdle.
