I love how this was a genuine conversation and how Joe isn't afraid to reveal what he doesn't know. That to me makes everything he says that he does know appear more legitimate and that he's a reputable source on this topic. Thanks for this episode guys! I learned a lot.
Dude i love that you add the sections on the timeline! It helps me be able to go back while at work if someone started talking and i missed something lmao. Please keep this up, love it!
I've seen quite a few of the Garden Talk chats and for some reason this resonated with me much more than having all "big dawgs" in the room talking slightly and at some times completely over my head, and that's not saying much. I think I connected better with Chris and Joe's content as Joe admittedly says that he doesn't know everything there is about growing and the interchange between the two of them was more of a general learning experience for me. Subscribed to Joe's feed and will keep learning and growing. Great show !!
I use my calendar like a diary. Write down everything done or amendments added. Watering, cloning or ventilation and humidity control. Thanks to ac infinity for uncomplicating my life. That was a solid for sure and Chris’s discount was sweet. Thanks Mr agrow it❤
Yes Chris!! You are so right and this is why I love all your channels and your book! I use organic nutrients and I didn’t know it took time for those nutrients to get broken down, so I would feed like three weeks later and come to see that my PPM’s are very high, but I’m slowly learning and learning from my mistakes!! Thank you so much and keep up the great work
Ive always used thr mini jiffy pots start them in those and put them right kn the final pot and those roots break through no problem! Ive always had a smooth transition snd beautiful plants
Absolutely love both of your videos and content. Subscribed to both and want to thank you for all the information and encouragement you are giving to new growers like myself. Blessing and happy growing to us all!
Thank you Chris and joe, im a new grower on my first run in a 4x4 and I need all the help I can get! Running all autoflowers right now.. quite stressful, I think I’m over feeding? But they are growing like crazy.. idk stressful. These videos certainly help inform and are much appreciated!
do you see nutrient burn? maybe water more in between feedings and see if that helps. but if you don't see signs of overfeeding I wouldn't worry, are the leaves changing color to yellow? getting red stems? are they dark heavy green? if not you are *probably good
Yes I do see slight signs of nutrient burn, just on the tips a very small amount, I did end up doing that just water last night no nutrients, woke up to a pleasant surprise they are already loving it! Thank you very much!
as in most of your sharing you are hitting on all measures for most of out here. Thank you for all of your work. really like the lighting info., really like humidity, temp, C02, To "Top or not to Top" Thanks again.
I’m late on the podcast but here in Missouri we have such a flux in heat and temp. Even in a single day they can change by 40 degree F and 30% humidity. Great info watched the other gentleman you had on here even those two are some differences in thought. Always learning and appreciate the info you always give.
Grower Joe, much respect to ya brother! Keep it up , research everything and your work will speak for its self. I subscribed after watching this . Respect to the channel garden talk for for picking up a guy who loves what he does but needs Lil more recognition! Love the support. I listen to your channel on my hour n half ride to work every week and I learn everytime I listen ! 💪
This grow with 3 autos I got going actually got me sold on humidity. I brushed it off but got one and then it broke after the first grow. Now the next grow, going on now, I have no humidifier and I actually see the difference in the soil moisture and the leaf moisture. I have under 50% humidity this grow and it’s noticeable in the growth and just health and I have to mist or top water wayyyyyyy more now. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great video very informative thanks to Grower Joe for sharing this information with the community and they say that Variety is the Spice of Life and I love having a variety of different flavors and different effects and experiences from growing different cultivars and I have been growing photos since 1999 I started growing because of the Y-2K shortage of black market vendors not having any because of the scare but I just started growing Autoflower plants in 2021 and now I’m growing photos and Autoflower plants and I’m loving them both
Great topic! I use a small bucket of RO water with a large air stone and pump to create a humidity bubbler, add a splash of hydrogen peroxide to fight bacteria.
We start autos in a solo cup. They stay there for exactly 1 week then we transplant to a 4-5 gallon pot. We do this so we can sprinkle mykos and azos on the roots. We did an experiment on this the video is on our channel. Mykos and azos can double the size of your plants.
Have you ever tried those peat planters? Then you don't have to remove them from the container to transplant them, but they probably aren't as cheap as Solo cups lol
@@SegwayBossk yes i have used peat cups..the problem is the roots have a hard time growing through them and they have to be removed during transplant..so solo cups work best 👌
Nice. I like to Goto walmart grab $5 bag of Wakefield biochar compost + mychorrizhal and put a cup or two in with your 3 gallon or 5 gallon medium pots and direct sow
I’ve recently started using molasses. It’s supposed to help throughout the entire growing process. Got some unknowns started, but definitely going to get some auto flowers.
I had my plants outside and I ran a huge led grow light on them at night until they started budding.while budding every once and a while i woukd put the light on at night until the last 2 weeks. I'm perty stoked because my plants went off this year probably because of the light and my chickens chitting in my garden.
I like to use those peat starter planters for everything I grow. I start all seeds in a wet paper towel, then plant them in the starter pots with organic potting soil. I like them because the roots will grow through them and you'll know it's time to replant. Then just put the entire thing into the final spot and you don't have any transplant shock
I do the same but with coco and soil 50 50 blend. Then after about a week. Up pot, maybe even final 3 gallon depending on how I feel about it. If it's an auto or not also.
I'm still learning for indoors outdoors I was tought as a young kid, I haven't tracked anything I just use timers and let the plant tell me to the extent I don't even check ph or use any meters.
Growerjoe keeps it soooo simple, which is how it should be👏a more in-depth flowering guide for auto's would be great as we all know the last thing you want is issues in flower like I do every grow
I have had good success generating CO2 inexpensively using brewer's yeast and sugar There are plenty of videos on youtube showing how I learned my method from an aquarium channel Thanks for all the good info Cheers

He seems to be REAL down to earth person... it'll be fun to keep following him... I don't run Autoflowers but I'd like to see what I can do with his bags with my photo runs... I'm ordering some now.
I use a $20 lux meter from Amazon because you can correspond the reading to par very easily. 70,000 lux is direct sun light. I do 20,000 to 30,000 in veg. When I move my lights up as the plants grow is when I increase the intensity. Early flower I do around 50,000 and mid flower go 💯 on my lights which is over 60,000 lux. Hope this helps those on a budget like me.
After I experienced some light pollution devastating an outdoor photoperiod plant, not having to worry about that when growing autoflowers is definitely a plus to me.
I'd love to see a video on how you use the flower you grow! Extracts, resin, hash, smoking bud, etc etc.... These videos are all amazing, but I'd love to see you do one like that, of what you do with your product once grown. Do you eat / ingest it, smoke it, vape it
