Safe travels today! I hope the next version of Test Track keeps the Semi Truck. I agree with Big the Foot and like the original opening version so far.
My dad worked for GMAC, which was owned by GM, which or course owns Chevrolet, and was the original sponsor of the World of Motion. I remember getting on and off of World of Motion, but I was too young to remember any details. However, what I do remember is getting to go around to a hidden door around the side, down a short hallway and up an elevator to the VIP lounge. We got promotional stuff from GM talking about the concept that they were working on with Disney for TestTrack and I was super excited to ride it, but it got delayed for quite a while. See, GM developed the Test Track vehicles, which are all independent and self-propelled cars, and while they exceeded GM's quality standard, they didn't meet Disney's quality standards! Anyway, got to ride the original Test Track not too long after it opened. Still got to go the VIP lounge and skip the line, which was nice. Especially the air conditioning and free snacks and drinks they had up there. GM eventually sold GMAC off, and we no longer technically had access to the VIP lounge after the update. When we rode the new version the first time it was with fast passes and we were kind of confused as to what was actually going on with the ride. Luckily, my dad is confident and quite the charming salesman, so he was able to get the whole family into the VIP lounge later in the day, and that's when we learned about the design-your-own-car aspect of the new version. We missed the kiosks to design your own car in the fast past line, but were able to do it in the VIP lounge. Seeing my nieces and nephew struggle with indecisiveness designing their cars, I was then glad we missed the feature previously, LOL. It's a neat idea in theory, but you really have to dumb it down to get a lot of people through the attraction, and indecisive kids have to move on before theirs is done. Whatever they change, hopefully they will make a more universal experience and not hold up the line with decision making.
I wont miss this version. I miss the original test track dummy version. Embodied the whole purpose of the ride....you see how they test new vehicles. Let's bring that back. We already have Tron.
For anyone asking they announced the re-theme a while ago: “D’Amaro stated that Disney Imagineers are working with Chevrolet to reimagine the attraction completely with inspiration coming from the original World of Motion attraction”
I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this but that ride system would make an awesome Back To The Future ride with the vehicles themed to the Time Machine!
I saw on TikTok that the Fort Wilderness cabin you saw is for sale. Everything inside(furniture, appliances, light fixtures)is included. Love the channel❤
Thanks for the fun coverage! I just wanted to say your journey is inspiring, I was looking at your insta the other day and you’re looking good man!! Keep it up 👍🏻
Omg Adam, I was making me a cup of coffee and then I got a phone call when I returned to your vlog I swear I seen you on that tron ride and I swear I thought you were at the airport and the tram at the airport malfunction and it was taking you guys really fast totally forgetting that you were at Disney. For some reason my heart dropped. It was so funny. Oh my God. Great video! 😎🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥
I average 20k steps whenever I go to Disney World. One time I was on Testtrack and we were doing 65mph and it came to a sudden stop with tires smoking all over us. We got evacuated with a free fast pass.Smelled like tires all day.
Looking at what they did to the old Future World central hub, I became very insecure with any “new version” Disney is planning for their attractions. 🥶
I remember World of Motion, and I loved it. It was a great attraction and I really hope they don't let me down with this re-theme. I wonder if they'll use "It's fun to be free".
I'm glad you got to show us before it is changed. You and Jacob got me wanting mold a matics, and pressed pennies. But I guess that would mean I have to go somewhere besides work and home, lol. Looking good
Adam .. Myself and my Family grew up going to Disney World .. in fact we were selected by Duncan Hines to be one of 50 families honoring their state .. ours Florida .. and each interviewed on Good Morning America that day cutting a HUDGE cake of the castle for the 15th anniversary of Disney World. Now can’t afford to ever go back because too much money and too many people to enjoy. So I now live thru your experiences at the parks.. thanks .
Great to see you had a good final ride! Although I'm not at all sad to see this go, I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for the next iteration of this ride!
A fun journey as always and congrats of the weight loss victory! Funny to hear the Tron reference ... I am not sure how well Tron ages over time, but at least it's spirit lives on next to Space Mountain.
I want to make clear I like Adam tons. If I saw him on the streets I’d invite him to my home to eat dinner with me and my family. If he was homeless id give him a spare room. I’ve been watching him for a decade he’s family. That said because he’s family I feel I can joke around so I gotta crack a joke. Adam dude you looking Sus creeper with a that stash those glasses in a Mickey shirt at Disney alone no kids no wife with you lol. I love it. The man loves life doesn’t give a f. Keep it up man!!
Even though I’m a TRON fan I really preferred the previous version where it was more like, you know, A TEST TRACK! The original World of Motion was the best though so maybe they’ll bring some elements of that attraction back? (Crosses fingers!)
Our last ride on version 2.0 was a few days before yours. It will be a memory to keep for a long time. It had started raining while inside the ride, so needless to say, we got pretty wet by the time we got off. Excited to see what the new version will be like. Not familiar with the first version.
My Current car I boiugtht new after walking into the Chevy showroom and looking over the 2016 Malibu back in 2015. That car is still running! I love it.
Make sure you bring a couple ways to prove that you live at your address. Rental car companies make it extremely difficult for local renters. Be safe on the roadways! Have Fun!
Adam you look great! Keep up the good work! Safe travels can’t wait to watch the vlogs love your videos 😊 ps thanks for taking us on test track haven’t been on that ride since I was little it was awesome to see!
Disney or a disney approved company sold the old Fort Wilderness cabins online recently. I remember thinking it was a good deal until transportation costs were factored in.
Darn it I missed you again. We were in Mk yesterday and Epcot today. We are here for my 50th which is tomorrow, Friday the 14th. It is extra toasted down here. Safe travels and enjoy your adventures.
@@brain8484But if we truly only eat when we are hungry, how is that starving/denying our bodies? Not being a devil's advocate - just someone who struggles with food intake and blood sugar balance. And, a lot of times when we think we're hungry, we are really just thirsty and need rehydrating.
Got one last ride on this version of Test Track the other day while I was down for the Tiana's media day, it's never been my favorite version of the attraction but I do have some fond memories of it.
Looking so fit and as always a great video!! Enjoy your travels today and thank you for another awesome time watching and listening this morning. Love your new home too. I bet it’s so wonderful to come home to after all your current travels! ❤
I never did ride the Test Track. Every time I was at the park, the wait time was an hour or more and we did other things instead of waiting. It's hard to pay big bucks at a park and you spend a lot of your time barely moving.
I like the movie Cloak-and-dagger because I've lived in San Antonio all my life. I know back then there was talk about SA becoming the new Hollywood but never happened.
Road Test Track about a week ago at Epcot Center for the last time until the next version and remembered when World of Motion was in that same spot, which I loved that ride
I remember the old version of Test Track when it was less futuristic and they would shoot you towards that crash wall that would open up on to the track.
OMG 😱😱 Adam!!! The sneak peek of you during your weight loss. Looking good my dear friend. Keep it up.. not for the notoriety but for your health.... Love ya man.. journey Mercy 🥰🤗🥰🤗
I've got the models of the monorail, trams, busses and skyline on my window sill at home, also gutted we fly over from UK on the 18th sad were going to miss it
I went on this ride once, got stuck for over 20 minutes on a 45 degree angle...miserable. Glad they are retheming and I hope it will return to the first version with al the fun animatronics.
Just stopping in by to say you can really see your hard work pay off with the weight loss dude, very inspiring. Keep it up, what's the thing you think made the biggest difference?
Vicarious vacay thru the Woo! Won't be able to enjoy Test Track before it is closed and revamped! So long TT 2.0. EPCOT evolving just as it's acronym defines, dig? 💯✌🏾
The weight loss is 100% noticeable congrats so far keep it up!! all you have to do is not change what your currently doing once you find the crabby patty formula you just repeat it, awesome stuff!!
Morning Adam 😎📸 never heard of test track at Epcot im person that never been to a Disney park, dont think i ever will lol. Thanks for sharing this Adam, hope everything turns out for the better. You take care. Stay awesome.
This is my favorite version of the ride. I never cared much for the original. Call me crazy. I am, however, very much looking forward to the next version.
It would not surprise me if they try to retheme it to Cars. Could be an interesting take, rethemeing a test trak operation to look like it exists in the Cars Universe.

Safe travels today! I hope the next version of Test Track keeps the Semi Truck. I agree with Big the Foot and like the original opening version so far.
The semi truck is a must
Hopefully they put quite a bit more effort in the new version. Version 2 was quite disappointing IMO .

Yep it’s time for a change
As long as they aren’t lazy like they were with version 2 I’ll be happy.
I agree
@@MichaelRei99- GM is still the main sponsor with Chevrolet involvement. There is a chance the refurbishment might turn into version 2.5.
For anyone asking they announced the re-theme a while ago:
“D’Amaro stated that Disney Imagineers are working with Chevrolet to reimagine the attraction completely with inspiration coming from the original World of Motion attraction”
That's cool although a small part of me was hoping for an Formula 1 themed ride since ESPN has the US tv rights for it right now.
Yea, and originally they said this EPCOT overhaul would be in line with the parks original vision. We see how that turned out.
Dabney Coleman such a great actor. I remember my younger brother (named Adam) and I watching Cloak and Dagger when we were kids. Nice vlog 😎😎😎

Good idea, unfortunately Back to the Future is a Universal Studios product and the Mouse doesn't own the rights.
