5G promises a world of ultra-high-speed connectivity. While we may see a decreased reliance on macrocells -- or those sky-high cell towers along highways or in rural areas -- the truth is that 5G relies on a combination of base stations, including macrocells, small cells, and femtocells. The differences between the three are apparent in size, coverage, and cost -- but, small cells in particular are key to providing the high millimeter wave frequencies 5G promises.

Oh this video is so much underrated. Your explanation is crystal clear. I was struggling to understand this concept although I read a lot about them and you made me understand it in less than 4 minutes. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for making the video in this much detail!!! It really helped me to understand the difference!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, where did you get the information on the installation cost from? Could you provide the source please?
While 5G can use mmWave, it doesn't have to. Any band that's used for 2, 3 or 4G can also be used for 5G. The carrier I'm with has bands from 600 MHz to 3.5 GHz, but not mmWave.
This is spot on information. Can small cells use the same frequency as the active denial system?
I am no expert, but ADS uses 95ghz while 5g is 28-39ghz.
Edit: another source states 24-47ghz
Edit: yet another source states 24-54ghz
Excellent thanks
You are welcome
Wonderful video
Thanks for watching!
THANKS
You're welcome!
What is the difference between frequency and carrier.

It is so obvious to transition all the new Wi-Fi routers to 5G Femtocell. Everyone would win. No more passwords, internet everywhere, and possibly more affordable home internet due to discount for using your infra.
I second the cost of Small cells.

still?

Voice was low and unclear concept so disliked
So sorry to hear that! You can always turn on closed captions from the settings menu, or slow the playback speed, to make it easier to follow along.
What? Explain how so? It was very clear information. I’m confused and voice was very clear
