      Thanks Kimo for your comment. Technologies come and go, but the fundamentals rarely change. In this lesson, we're getting started by understanding the fundamentals of mobile networks and how mobility is implemented... which hasn't changed at all, so there is nothing to update. Even with the eventual deployment of 5G across the spectrum in coming years, the fundamentals will remain the same.

    Looking at a tower up close there are huge cables. Are these necessary for large power delivery or are they multiple bundles of individual wires? This is not clear.

    • @teracomtraining
      @teracomtraining  5 лет назад

      They are thick coaxial cables (one wire inside the other) to move the electricity between the transceiver and antenna, to reduce attenuation. Not multiple bundles of individual wires.

      @@teracomtraining hi thanks for replying
      In year 2003, I used to work in telephone company I rang my friend from voip phone and shows mobile number on his mobile phone could it be error? Glicth? Because I actually rang from voip phone I just what could it be? Or mobile carrier/operator? Bandwidth ?

    • @teracomtraining
      @teracomtraining  3 года назад

      @@ibrarmushtaq2430 This would be caused by your friend having both numbers for you in his contacts, and his phone deciding to display the mobile number regardless of which you called from.
