I picked up one myself at 3-in with extended barrel and it actually has a exposed hammer that's exposed not embedded which is beautiful it's just I actually prefer it.
I put the Hogue grip on mine. The pretty walnut grips are too hard. I now shoot 158 and 180 357 mag loads much better now. This shoots a really good 38+P very well too.
@@montycasper4300 I have not had any problems. They are not that sticky. I carry in front pocket in some pants in a holster. It typically rides in a desantis holster with a clip in cross-draw.
I'm looking forward to getting the K6S 3" DAO, and I'm wondering what your thoughts are about this revolver now that you've had it for 3 years? New subscriber Sir! Thanks and Blessings! By the way, did you ever escape California?
@JustPairofPants I have been hunting high and low for negatives, the most common complaint, lack of add on components, with the popularity of the K6S rising, more and more add-ons have come to surface.
@@JustaPairofPants in your first comment you said, you want this exact gun, did you end up with the same one as in the video? Kimber K6S 3" (Stainless) That's the best tittle I can find for it. PS: is it comfortable with .357?
I don't understand the purpose of double-action only. If you don't like single action, just don't use that feature. No need to take it off the gun. I guess the only reason would be if you didn't like how the hammer looks/ wouldn't fit where you are trying to put it with the hammer. Either way, dual action revolvers are the way to go.
The reason is they’re for concealed carry and a hammer can snag on your clothing when drawing in defense, delaying your draw and potentially getting you killed. A hammer is typically utilized in a planned, deliberate shot, as opposed to a quick defensive draw. I have a S&W M&P R8 for home defense, an M&P 340 for carry, and I’d like to add this Kimber as a carry gun.
How were you able to get the 3 inch concealed hammer in California? I tried to buy one and the gun store said only 2 inch concealed hammer models approved in California. Hmmm?
California and you own a butterfly knife? You must not carry it, because just like the gun you can keep and play with it at home but can’t carry the gun or knife?
Exactly Balisongs automatic and gravity knives in California you can own them for collectors and sporting purpose but you cannot carry them on your person in public just like firearms
Lugermonger Yea I have a few microtech OTF and just made sure to be safe and read the law, and was like ok can keep in home if carried it is a felony, I’m like nooo, they are to amazing to just keep in the case I always keep them in, but I have other knives that open just as fast and are legal so that’s the way it has to be.
You not conceal carrying has nothing to do with California. It has to do with your county/sheriff. I live in Southern California where the Riverside Sheriff, San Bernardo Sheriff and Orange County Sheriff have absolutely no problem giving a conceal carry permit to just about anyone as long as you don't put anything stupid on your application. I have a ccw, my employees have ccw's, my customers have ccw's, my friends have ccw's etc. You must live in shit hole LA county or the Bay area. Those areas don't represent California. Try encouraging your California viewers to get their ccw even if you don't want to. Nice gun though
That swirling satin finish made me pick the king cobra up instead lol, it looked like a cracked up monkey finished a $900 gun... Really made it look cheap to me. Probably a great gun but God that satin was UGLY

Could you make a video about the difference between curved and straight balisongs and learnimg tricks on them. That would be awsome!

Are they an issue if you carry? They look comfortable, but sticky rubber tends to print more.

The hogue grips print less gun-like with the pinky bit, the boot grips print a flat line.

Did you ever install the Control Core grips? If so I'd love to see a part 2 review, literally not a single review on RUclips.
