When you are regenerated/justified by God by putting your faith in Christ Jesus, you are forgiven of your sins past, present, and future! Therefore you will suffer no consequences for sin and sin has no control over you anymore. It (sin) is irrelevant and has no power. This of course does not mean that you live a sinful life free of penalty but that you live in newness of life dead to your sinful fleshly desires and alive to God! Amen

Great message, but in what sense is a Christian “ dead to sin?” I still don’t understand that part.
