That first Alouette was a literal gigachad, he dodged a spike er, a mistral and killed an eurocopter lol
Quick tip when using the VBCI, take 5 belts of APFSDS and one of APDS. the VBCI has a dual feed system so you can swap belts in half a second, but reloading a belt takes much longer. If youre in a pinch and run out of your apfsds belt you can swap to shooting apds in half a second instead of waiting for the full reload to shoot more APFSDS
i would consider taking a loadout of half spikes half hellfires
use the spikes to deal with sams, hellfires for tanks since they do more damage and go faster

Um no, 4 hellfires, and what u want to do with them, 2 kills? cuz they are garbage, with spikes u atleast can fire and hide which is very usefull.
@@SuiSideex well you can shoot all your spikes on ennemy vehicles go back and reload if you do it fast enough it can be very deadly
I fully agree that France is missing a top tier light tank, that's why I really want them to add the EBRC Jaguar with Spike missiles.

We don't lack choice for light tank. EBRC Jaguar (French Akeron MP, not Spike) VBCIs 2 with 40mm + Akeron etc.

Lol Justin the AH-129D that killed you was me lol. Spikes have worked very well for me, not very many issues. As you can see lol they're great at anti heli

Regarding your question if being able to see what is locking/pinging you on the RWR is cheesy. I would say no because I’m fairly certain aircraft can differentiate between different radar signals in real life and it makes the job of a CAS pilot a lot more enjoyable.
yeah i was surprised he said that, each aircraft has its historical rwr now and gives the information that the real rwr does. the more modern vehicles can tell via the radar bands and stuff
@@prantz3052 For top tier air rb this was so needed even though you get locked when someone next to you is who the enemy is actually locking etc. But it does help with awareness.

I definitely think the pars are still better you have 1 less km range to get much faster missiles and that tiny bit of extra explosive mass can be the difference for a kill

I find with all my time with pars and now the spike. Locking a target from the front or rear, is a 90% kill rate. You can even test it in test flight.
I have bad news Justin, i still get that turret turn to the back when i alt + tab, and also have seen it happen to many other people! It's wierd i know XD

they did not in fact fix the bug where your turret faces backwards when you alt tab

French tanks need to get stronger shells to compete with other tanks at the same BR and ranks, at 6 and 7, the French 105s have 361mm of pen where other nations with have around 400mm, and the Leclerc despite all being 11.7 have less pen than any other Nato guns despite having a longer barrel
Chally 2s have a worse round, tbf; but yeah I desperately want a new French round, one that actually weighs more because the current one is 3.8 kg, the same as 105mm M900, so spalling is SHIT
@@Northern00 the Issue with Challys and so Chinese/Russian guns is the two piece ammo they use that limits the rods lenghts and so penetration
the Leclerc shouldn't suffer from that issue because of the one piece ammunition being used (and also longer gun than L/44s)
French helis are wonderful but you have to grind through the H34, which is very much very bad

pars 3 are twice as fast as the spikes, spikes go 648 km/h and pars3 1110 km/h aprox.@@Serkay64

@@Serkay64 Tiger UHT has a top mounted camera which gives you the advantage of being behind cover when firing the missiles instead of exposing more of your helicopter like on the HAD.
The 30mm Bushmaster is such an anemic gun. Truly horrible dps in comparison to the rest of the ifv's
From what I've seen, spikes are too small in the game. All the things I have seen say the Spike is a 130mm missile but the game has them at 110. Maybe that would help fix spikes doing nothing from ground-to-ground targets.
Damn knocked out by an Alouette II wow that player is decent with that thing with no armor. I Did buy that VBCI a little bit ago and still have not even used it, I always forget I have it. I will probably wait till all the sale mumbo jumbo is done for a minute to use it.
omg i finally seen a new war thunder updated trailer and not the mig27k update one still lol
you can bind your scroll wheel to zoom with a dropdown box in the settings in helicopters so your not either at 4x zoom or 120x you can gradually zoom through the entire range, makes playing helis alot easier
it's just a shame you can't use both the mousewheel and a zoom button.

Fire and forget seems incredibly unfair to fight against both with other helicopters and SPAAGs. Like in what world is manually controlled missile or gun aa going to beat this?

I wish they'll add the Jaguar as the french top tier light, 4 MMP missiles, 40 mm autocannon with 200rpm, composite armor and a 24,5 hp/ton. Would fit very nicely into the top tier lineup
It's in a leak list (so it can be fake of course) but there are hope. Gaijin said that big tank are coming at the end of the year, and since i dont see France having another leclerc right now, maybe we get a good light tank

Fun fact the stingers are artificially nerfed hard. Should be 22G pull and that's for the 80s not even the more modern as I have unclassified stinger information that says 22G
Same for Mistral, mistral 1 was capable of 25G, 30G for Mistral 2. Today we use Mistral 3 afaik. But gaijin only give us one mistral (looks like they dunno about variants), and it's half (12G...) what the first variant is supposed to be x)

Whenever I Alt-Tab my vehicles still turn around and face behind me, not a big problem but a bit annoying.
Should only happen if you move as the aiming reticle gets stuck on the last position it was aiming at when you alt tab.

I really hope with the influx of FnF weapons on helicopters, the US will get AGM-114Ls, current hellfires are too unreliable and leave you exposed for way too long. I'd like to see Justin try the same thing with the pantsir but with hellfires. Unless they implement buddy-lasing, I won't use US choppers outside of heli PvE.

The maneuverability of Tiger helis is so good, when I play anti-air and try to take down helis Tigers are the hardest to destroy in my own experience because of how good they maneuver, some truly remarkable engineering!

Spikes are just too slow, they go from 260 ms, to 160 and than down to 80ms

I swear to god this thing has to be nerfed or somehow has to be exposed for 5 seconds atleast to shoot those atgms just now had to experience this thing for micro second in tree line i saw this thing with 2s6 did not had time to send him missile dude dissapeared and managed to lock 5 teammates like wtf this thing should not be in the game or be nerfed in the level where others can enjoy some ground gameplay.

But Italy doesn't have a properly armored MBT (the Ariete's armor in game has been wrong since day 1)
This video is a perfect example of why i would never bother to play 11.7 when things like this exists, simple fire and forget and hide.. Meanwhile spaa has to sit there like an idiot with no idea what's coming and can't fire back.

F&F ATGMs are hard to lock on helicopters with IRCM, like a129 and ah64a. I hope this is just a bug.

Pars 3 is three times so fast and the pars tracks better

German heli suffers the pars are not on par with this the locking is so bad on pars

the German Tiger UHT and the Italian heli, way outperform this helicopter. pars 3 just goes faster than the spike-ER. and the Italian heli's chain gun is better than the Tiger HAD. so if you go on in a head on fight with each other, the Italian heli will win every time.
Meanwhile the American heli tree 🥹

The Tiger was made alongside the french
France produces the Eurocopter as well, not only that but this version in particular is exclusive to France.
Actually this is a Spanish one. Spain also produces the Tiger and they are the only user of the Tiger that uses Spikes in their helis
