Honestly, I don't really know what to think of spikes. They are a fair bit slower than even the PARS 3s, so about a third of my missiles hit after the target is long dead. Then, the lock is stupidly buggy, so another third of my missiles decide to randomly explode midair because part of the track of the tank is slightly dusted, and as for the last half, the missiles either hit the engine deck or bounce of the roof of the tank. I mean, at least, they are not overpowered, but they are actually a fair bit to buggy even after years of the PARS 3 being in game.
The issue that you face with Spikes are the same with PARS. They just hit transmission most of the time for me, hence I use HOT-3 as well especially in urban maps

Hello, only the range and speed as Vanpwar said, both have same penetration and heat tandem warhead. Spike ER speed around 180 meter per second PARS speed is 0.9 Mach, which means around 308 meter per second PARS speed is definitely a great advantage over Spike, because with a slow missile there are so many variables out there that might let the strike fail, like smoke, cover and getting destroyed by another threat source. For example PARS might be able to kill a fast moving BMP-2 before going behind a tree line while Spike missile might fail in such scenario because the BMP might be able to hide behind the tree line before the missile reaches. Spike missile is a beautiful addition to France and Italy though.

I dont know what Gaijin thought how introducing RNG on F&F missiles could fix them, now even secure kills are now not certain anymore I even had it that a PARS just flew over a Gepard in PvE and hit the ground

When you cycle between targeting pod view (on aircraft’s) and third person do you do it with 2 separate keys? Or have you found a way to do it with just one and skip the other views
@@nicholasjensen8016 I use 2 buttons, but there is a trick you might want to test. Make both targeting and external view buttons as the same one in your keyboard. It should work as far as I remember.

PARS missiles are far from being as good as They once were, they lose lock for The tiniest Bush and I really Don't know What gaijin did wrong but stingers miss ALL The time rn. That together With The fact that it doesn't have a gun to defend itself in close range turned it in a frustration machine. It's a shame Tho, I Love The tigers but The UHT is pure pain.

I'd say the Spike on the HAD is better from personal experiences with the Spike on the 129D. It moves a bit slower allowing it to maneuver more on targets like helis.

I don't fomd it fair how tiger UHT is same BR as tiger HAD block 2, the tiger HAD block 2 gets better air to air missiles and an actual gun to shoot targets neerby while also having fire amd forget missiles lile the UHT
Same with PARS, actually spikes are available for many western vehicles in both manual and automatic guidance. This is why Gajin implemented funny Chinese event afv with missiles.

I've always wondered why the Mistral is one of the only heli born missiles that can be flared rather easily.

Hellfires B (the older ones) work better against those targets too?
Pretty much the same. The main difference between the two missiles is Hellfire B is "HEAT" and Hellfire K is "HEAT Tandem".

Carry 16 shells max, to empty the hull from ammo. Play defensive and hull-down snipe whenever you can. Thanks 🙏

Problem it's Ah-64A its 11.3 while ka-50 its only 11.0 with best air-to-ground guided missiles, best cannon and strongher.....why ah-64a(gr) its 11.3?
