    Scary to see how hard it is to counter fire and forget missiles, when the KA-52M and Mi-28NM gets access to the LMUR missile its gonna be a nightmare

    Massive fire and forget spam... But giving the Apaches the proper LongBow loadout would give them an unfair advantage. Gaijin really do have their heads up in a dark space.

      Longbows are radar-guided, meaning they'll completely ignore smoke and can lock through foliage. Could be balanced either by limiting them to only 8 missiles (2x4 pods) or adding multispectral smoke to ground vehicles. More variants of the Hellfire in general (like the R/N for example) would also be nice.

    the missile more often than not just damage a component especially lightly armored vehicles such as spaa in-fact needing 3-4 missiles to destroy a pantsir/adats in the worst case

    Which is better in your opinion, the Tiger UHT or the Tiger HAD? Both have Fire and Forget missiles, but the UHT has the PARS and has been in the game for a long while, whereas the HAD has the Spike ERs and was just added recently.
    I'm wondering cus I'm nearing top tier France ground vehicles but I'm also getting to around the middle of German ground vehicles and I dunno which heli to go for first.

      In my opinion, the only notable difference is the chin-mounted 30 mm on the HAD, whereas the UHT has none. In WT, this is very crucial for self defense against aircraft because Igla/ATAS/Mistrals are equally shit.
      Other than that, Spike travels slower (180 m/s) but further (8 km), whereas PARS travel a bit faster (roughly 300 m/s) but a bit shorter (7 km). Practically speaking, these differences are very negligible in my opinion. Both are still very excellent against helis and suffer the same inconsistencies against ground targets.

      Missile speed is the most important thing for this. But niko also said, 30 mm is also critical for self defence and CAS option. 4x ATAS really awful...

      It's been many years since I unlocked this helicopter in the game; I unlocked it when it first came out.
      Back then, it was an absolute beast, but today it has been nerfed a lot. If you ask whether it's worth unlocking now, I'd say no. Instead, playing with Russian, Chinese, or American helicopters is much more enjoyable.
      Also, my new favorite is the Italian A129. With its Spikes, it's a very dangerous machine.

    Man what is with PARS and also spikes going for the optics on top of the tank? Happened to you a bit and happens to me also.

      Yeah, it's annoying, idk exactly what the cause but it's needs to be fixed.

      gaijin changed IR atgms not too long ago (1-2 months?) to target random parts of the target, like top of the turret, engine, tracks, etc.
      They can't let nato helis have proper atgms basically.

    Fire and forget is cool, but damage is trash sometimes. Very random game experience. Snail does everything to make life harder for pilots. 70sp SAMs are sure to shoot down helicopters and do not "hits" to triplexes and landing gear.

      Did you see that Pantsir "hit" with PARS 😂 I especially noticed that the PARS missiles locks on the T-90Ms optics on the turret. I hope they fix this bug as soon as possible.
