Jeffery take the Van back ; the Trans sounds ? Hope things are working out better for you “Song Bird” Missing your thrifting & heck I’m Missing Our Jeffery
I agree, Jeffrey. It has been tough watching you lately. And I say that out of love. You need an apartment. You did such a wonderful job on your house. Then you lost Stella and Marc and things fell apart for you. Fix up the van and use it for road trips, but you need a HOME. And you need someone in your life. Blessings to you.
I am so sorry that your dream is taking such a toll on you. I was hoping things would work out for you so you could travel like you wanted. I hope things do work out for the best for you and your dream.
FORD stands for "Found on the Road Dead". Have a 2004 Toyota Highlander with almost 400,000 miles and still has the same transmission, catalytic converter, etc. Runs like a charm.I know that is NOT what you want to hear so here it goes: I believe you will be fine!!! Your van will be fine eventually and so you will get on with whatever your heart takes you. You will survive!
123,000 miles is an awful lot of miles for a car you plan to drive around the country. Maybe a newer van would have been a better purchase. Hopefully you received some type of warranty from the seller on the van. Good luck.
Oh Jeffrey, What a stretch of luck….geez! Yes, I would take the van back after repairs, see if they will make it right! Just crazy series of events, but persevere…lots of good thoughts coming your way! ❤
My husband and I have had Ford vehicles for four decades and they've been very reliable. When you buy used, you don't know the previous history. Jeffrey's van looks very suspicious with all the dirt inside....possibly in a flood.
Ok. Lots of advice here. I am a grandma. You need a vehicle and a van isnt a bad idea but don't spend all your money fixing it up. Throw a mattress back there and find a nice community with a strong gay population and get an apartment on main St. So you can walk and take buses. Settle down for a while and stabilize. Become part of a community. If you are still in Florida I recommend Gainesville. The Sarasota area is also very nice. Bradenton is also a lovely town.
Oh poop JeffJeff. You can’t catch a break when it comes to vehicles, can you. Hopefully, this works out not to be too costly. Your ideas sound great! Can’t wait to see the finished product. Take care👍🏼
Will’s whereabouts on RUclips… he converts his van for camping, so many helpful hints to watch. He has had a lot of trial and errors, a lot of great ideas, enjoyable to watch. May be helpful. “No experience van build” in his playlist, 44 videos.
Oh Dear!! The stars are not lining up! I hope it has a warranty Jeff. I think it’s going to look amazing ❤. Looking forward to next video! You are very handy ❤
Jeffrey that’s infuriating hopefully the place you bought it from does the right thing and takes care of it for you. Much love and many blessings, better days ahead 👍
Perhaps long, thin plastic bins for the cubby? I LOVE seeing you doing all this work. You are so knowledgeable and impressive. Thanks for bringing us along. Having the van break down right on the "lemon law" day is major suckage. *fingers crossed*
So very sorry. I wish you the very best and hope it is not a huge repair. I have watched you forever and hate you have had bad luck. Sending good thoughts.
Jeffery, Your subscribers are mostly worried about the decisions you are making. You can’t safely live and sleep in a delivery truck with no bathroom or heat or air conditioning or even a screened window to open. What are you thinking?? If you are short on money, find a job. I’ve been following you for a long time and I remember you saying you used to have a regular job so you know you can do it again. You could continue doing RUclips content while working. Build up some stability now and you can travel later. We all want you to do better!
If you listened to him on why he did decide to move he felt the area was just made up of families, he didn’t feel it was for him and living and reselling in central Florida wasn’t what he thought it would be. How many videos of the same type of estate sales in The Villages can he post. It didn’t pan out so since he is younger he chose to follow his dreams. Try looking from his perspective not yours. I am not putting you down or criticizing your opinion just repeating what was said in a few of his videos. Being kind and supportive goes a long way.
Dude what the heck are you doing??? You had a home with your old boyfriend that didn't work. You moved to Florida really quick rented a house or purchased or whatever that was which was a nice setup for you and your cute little doggy Stella before she died. Then you and your new boyfriend seem to be doing well, then he got a job elsewhere, you take a stab at Airbnb and apparently you did not want to move and continue the relationship. Then you buy van #1 and live with your amazing friend for a while. Van number one was already done up for living and travel. However, none of that was good enough for you and now you purchased a used van that needs everything with over 100,000 plus miles on it for $11,000 plus dollars... Just spill the beans already. One of the blessings of RUclips is you have a captive audience whether it's an audience of five or five million and someone out there probably could have given you advice and saved you heartache, cash, transientness and the like. However, if this has something to do with breaking the law I can see why you didn't say anything nor should you but otherwise if it's not that just let it go because none of this makes any sense. Wishing you luck but you seem to be a bit frantic and making incredibly large changes in quick succession and that's usually not a good sign.
Ummm he's young and can do as he pleases. Travel and have fun while he's young. He had a house & boyfriend , but didn't want that... Weird how you think you can tell him what to do
Dude, you are way too judgmental. Dude, step away from the keyboard for a while. Dude, mind your own business. Dude, don’t rain on someone else’s parade.
There is no income... he is hanging by threads and wasting whatever little money he has, like there is no tomorrow. It is so sad to see and I want to shake him to wake up.
Oh man! Jeffrey it sounds like your transmission is dying. The van was caked in mud hopefully it wasn't in a flood or driven through water because the water would eventually destroy the electronics and the engine/motor. I hope that you bought this at a dealer and have some kind of warranty. Blessings to you 💙💯
Jeffrey, I’m kind of thinking it’s really not meant to be. How frustrating and annoying for you. If I were you I would reconsider this whole van thing, it’s taking all the fun out of doing this. A lot to think about and we’re all hoping it all works out for you. I know you’ll keep us posted👍
Yeah, I would have invested the $16K in the motorhome. Also, I HIGHLY recommend using Consumer Reports guide before you buy. A vehicle is too big an investment to go in blind. I'm really sorry you're going through this Jeffrey. I hope you can get out from under this vehicle. Sprinters are not that great.
Our Ford van got us stranded in the mountains on our way to San Diego from Arizona. Transmission just gave up. Kind of a nightmare trip. Sure hope you get things worked out!
Are you planning to fully insulate with foam board at least. May as well help keep you warm/cool longer. I'd say get the thickest fire retardant insulation you can get! Maybe its as simple as the drain plug was loose and the tranny fluid leaked out. Happened to me with my PT Cruiser. Had it serviced in alton across from holiday inn. By the ti.e i made it to the bottom of moreland road at 142, it just wouldn't shift. Let me tell you i read them the riot act about how they were trying to sabotage my transmission. Needless to say they replaced plug and gasket at nc and refilled fluid. Grrrr i was so mad! . Make sure you check under the van at periodically
We had a 2017 Ford Escape with 60,000 and the transmission went out. The mechanic told us it was the second Ford Escape that needed a new tranny this week. We paid the 6,000 and sold it with a 3 year warranty and ended up buying a Subaru.
WoW Jeffrey…..I’m so sorry! What a disappointment! All the changes and improvements sounded so positive. 🙏🏻 you get some better news so you can move forward. Hang in there! 👍and keep us posted ❣️
Why do I feel like there is something you’re not telling us? You had a cute house that you were decorating and all of a sudden you decided to live in a van? Did you fall into financial problems? Just be honest with us, we are your viewers and would understand. I’m sorry about your van, wish you best of luck.
I've been wanting to do the Van-life thing for years now, never had the courage to do it. After moving into my Florida house, I was distracted for awhile doing all of the reno projects that I enjoy. However, once the house is 'done' I didn't want it anymore. Sitting around a big house with nothing to do is depressing, SO time for a change. I started looking at vacant land in Florida to build a tiny home/compound with no real luck. Zoning laws are annoying in most counties and areas wherein you cannot live in structures under 400 sqft. I started looking into the vanlife thing again. At the same time, it occurred to me that thrifting in Florida isnt that great for reselling, so why would I want to be tied down in the middle of nowhere (on acreage). So I thought Aha, the van-life thing just might make since for me now. I went to look at a couple smaller sprinters that needed complete build-outs (as I've wanted to do for years). They were a bust. My parents recommended I go to Camping World because they thought I'd be more comfortable in something that had more homey features. Deep down, I didnt want something quite so tall and long, but after seeing it, the features started to look good. I bought it that day. Problems mounted month after month in dealing with CW to repair the faulty generator. Meanwhile, I was landlocked in Florida, but also able to stay with a friend while this went down. After the generator was finally fixed, I had my first real trip with it and hated it. The size was annoying, the generator was loud, it was a beast to drive in small areas. Parking is nightmarish and parking garages are out of the question with the height. That was it, no more Sprinter for me. I came back to Florida and immediately took it to CW to see about consigning it to sell it. The next day or two later I found a replacement van that is small and I can build just like I want. And, here we are.
Oh Jeffery this isn’t good for you right now hopefully this is a quick fix but not a good sign when it is only the 3rd day having it sorry I know you know that but I’m feeling bad for you but I do know that it gets better takes patience and a little time fingers crossed you got this We miss you out here 🦋
Signs from above are saying enough is enough with these vans, all this is doing causing you stress which leads to depression, time to realize you need to buy another Florida home and which still gives you time to travel and enjoy life.
Oh man...I told you those vans are crap! Let us know if it is the shifter cable. Can't tell you how many of those had to be replaced in the one I had for work. I hope things get better in the automotive department for you.
how many chapters did I miss.. what happened to the RV?.. That van was a total rip off I feel so bad for Jeff Jeff love ur vids but what going on man??
Put in great insulation when everything goes back together Jeffery. Keep the cool / warm air in and stp alot of the dust from coming in too. Best of luck!
That socks. I bought a van about 10 years ago. I didn't even get out of the area before the transmission went out. The lady that sold me the van said she had to put a transmission in it when she bought it So why shouldn't I have to also. Thank God I knew about everyone in that area. They kind of shamed her to giving my money back.
That can be fixed- depending on where he’s traveling there’s gym memberships and propane mini stoves. That’s the last thing to worry about! Safety I would say is top priority when living in car. Extra cautious
Noooo that is a lot of miles. It would make a great work van but not for traveling around the countryside. That probably had water damage in it to get that mold. Sell it asap, cut your losses and just stop and think for a while. This day and age money is too hard to come by without putting lots of thought into your future. Do you have a daytime job or just this stream? Good luck but sell that van and don’t invest anymore money in it.
The "Future Foam"is memory foam carpet padding 😁 , gotta be careful buying a used vehicle in Florida these days with all the storms/hurricanes/flooding 😩,looks like it was a work vehical, lightly used, maybe it had transmission issues and the person decided to sell,,,🥺,who knows, hopefully that's not the issue or being flooded 😩,all in all generally a nice little van 🚐 🤗
I still don't understand why you sold your home, closed your business and buying vans to travel around the country. These times are not good for that. You seem to be stable before. I hope you find what you're looking for.
I wondered where he was getting all the money to move, buy a house, remodel it in a short period of time, buy a van, travel the country, buy a new old van, and now what???? Foreclosure??? Bankruptcy??? Definitely unsettled. 🤔😵💫
So, I've worked now for 18 years and have saved/invested for the last 10 years. That is how I have money to do things with. In buying and selling both the Florida house and Mercedes Sprinter, I did lose about 80k in depreciation and selling fees, but I can re-coop that in a couple years if I want and I still have my retirement all sorted.
Sorry to say no offense but what is this obsession with living in a Van? You're 35 heading toward middle-age this is the time you found yourself and settled down. I wish you the best.
Jeffery take the Van back ; the Trans sounds ? Hope things are working out better for you “Song Bird” Missing your thrifting & heck I’m Missing Our Jeffery

He’s a perpetual victim. He needs to grow the hell up and man up.
Darn it, Jeffery! Enough is enough!!! You've been through so much already this year. We all want our happy guy back! ❤️
I hate to say this to deter you but the universe is telling you something. Once maybe, but twice? I adore you and hope all works out.
You just got it????? I would be taking it back to the dealer ASAP!! Thanks for sharing!
I worry about you, your spark appears to be gone! God bless and take care of yourself, we love you! Be happy!

Jeffery Needs a Home back in Florida 🤔
Sun is shining Jeffrey ☀️ and the birds are 🎵 🦜. This too shall pass ❤ Tomorrow is another day 🎉
Oh Jeffrey…..something is telling you to stay put somewhere.
I agree
I agree, there might be something down the road that's going to happen.I'm not a negative person but sometimes you have to follow all the signs
Yep. I thought that too when he bout the bigger van.
I agree. Someone is trying to tell you something. Be careful and be safe.
No. It's saying to take the van back and get a new one.
I’m so sorry, Jeffrey. Things will get better for you.
Absolutely right 😊
Oh Jeffrey, What a stretch of luck….geez! Yes, I would take the van back after repairs, see if they will make it right! Just crazy series of events, but persevere…lots of good thoughts coming your way! ❤
Maybe get a apt. Times are changing is it safe to be sleeping in a truck move in with your parents till you get a new house
I thought that he was or is staying with his parents for a while??
It was odd to see dirt like that behind the panels... Alot flood vehicles floating around...
Owned 2 fords in my life and both were money pits. Bought a used Toyota 8 years ago, over 350k miles now and still no major problems.
My husband and I have had Ford vehicles for four decades and they've been very reliable. When you buy used, you don't know the previous history. Jeffrey's van looks very suspicious with all the dirt inside....possibly in a flood.
Yep, Toyota ftw! 05" 4Runner with 232k miles, runs like a charm.
OMG Jeffrey what? I was so happy you were on a roll and it was all good... what? Sending positive vibes ❤😊
Yes I’m sending them also; we all need to send the pos vibes to Our Jeffery Yes

Oh poop JeffJeff. You can’t catch a break when it comes to vehicles, can you. Hopefully, this works out not to be too costly. Your ideas sound great! Can’t wait to see the finished product. Take care👍🏼
Yes !!!❤
Is there an apartment available in Katie's building? You be close to a good friend and your parents in Ocala.
And you can still go on nice trips 😊
OMG NO WORDS😮
So sorry to hear this about the van. Praying it will all get fixed the way you want.
At that mileage, the van is at the end of its life.
A Ford Transit van is not equal to a Mercedes Sprinter
It's not comparable however I would never start out with such high mileage on a vehicle that I planned to travel the US with.
Will’s whereabouts on RUclips… he converts his van for camping, so many helpful hints to watch. He has had a lot of trial and errors, a lot of great ideas, enjoyable to watch. May be helpful. “No experience van build” in his playlist, 44 videos.

I'm sorry about your run of bad things will surely start looking up I will be thinking good thought.
I’m hopeful you are simply doing something new, finding what you want in life and that living in your van will be an exciting, memorable experience!!
Just wow Jeffery .. too many bumps in the road !
Jeffrey that’s infuriating hopefully the place you bought it from does the right thing and takes care of it for you. Much love and many blessings, better days ahead 👍
His mum and dad must be very worried.❤🇬🇧😢
oh I was thinking that was a lot of miles We always trade our cars in when the transmission is starting to go about 120,000
Oh Jeffrey, I hope all is okay! I can’t imagine what is wrong… I’ll be waiting for your next video 😘
Perhaps long, thin plastic bins for the cubby? I LOVE seeing you doing all this work. You are so knowledgeable and impressive. Thanks for bringing us along. Having the van break down right on the "lemon law" day is major suckage. *fingers crossed*

Lots of hard work! This "van life" isn't all its cracked up to be.
I still can’t get over the fact that you sold your beautiful Florida home!
It was his decision and he made it for himself and no one else! Sheesh!

Oh this really sucks! Sorry to be so blunt. Hoping it’s fixed soon. An older Ford is always high risk.
I guess they are. I think perhaps a Toyota or Honda would be more promising
Toyota is the way to go. I feel like I already told him this.
With 123,000 miles and gas engine you are bound to have problems.
I just don’t get this guys decisions…lol…where is your last van
He's going through something...
He sold it and lost money .😢
@@borderlass101 why did he sell it?
What happened to the first van you got?
Why was my reply deleted?
What about insulation?
Looks like that vehicle has been in very high water
What happened to the camper???
😂
I think it was a problem with generator & issues with repair or replacemen of that. I don't think he ever slept in that van
I still don't understand why you sold your home, closed your business and buying vans to travel around the country. These times are not good for that. You seem to be stable before. I hope you find what you're looking for.
What on earth!! This is crazy bad luck lately. something doesn’t want you to travel, geesh
Wow what r u doing?. Money doesn't grow on trees.
Empty shell casing…interesting!😅
Better days ahead bud
For sure !!! 🎉 please don't delete my reply. Thanks
Why did you pack up and sell all your treasures and house😢
Oh No!!!
I wondered where he was getting all the money to move, buy a house, remodel it in a short period of time, buy a van, travel the country, buy a new old van, and now what???? Foreclosure??? Bankruptcy??? Definitely unsettled. 🤔😵💫
Umm he worked.. did you not see his selling online ? Geezz he also owned a house n building which he sold .
I'm doing it backwards. I settled down when I was younger, saved up money, and recently 'found myself' (although its an evolution, isn't it).
