@@steadytrucker only can make money a 9 car hauler. The car hanging over your Cab. We hauled 7 cars. Trailers cost 100k, insurance for car haulers is triple what dry van coverage costs, lots of damages to cars you have to pay out of pocket , fuel mileage on truck sucks because your 5th is bolted to very end of chassis so your popping wheelie as you drive and back axle is pinched to ground, have to spend full tank of fuel just getting loaded and unloaded driving around the city/state delivering 1 car at a time. We did it for 2 years and made -200,000$. “-“ as in negative
Vans will roll up doors don’t have the height clearance for the forklifts and tall freight. It’s only a few inches but the shipper is responsible if they damage that roll door and I’m sure it isn’t cheap
hello! i quick question! did you use one-way trailer broker? let me know. i want to start to work with them but i dont have to much information about that company.. thank you in advance
Hey man It's Kenny again. As always, I appreciate the materials you put out. With my authority being so new, I can't find any good rates doing power only. Based on your shows running power only, you were able good loads paying around $3 per mile. If you can help me how can I do better of finding and booking good loads with power only, that will be awesome. Thank you
If on DAT, you can sort by van/reefer if you are wanting that. Reefer floors aren't good for pallet Jack's. Fine for forklifts, but not pallet jacks. Also, some reefers po don't want hours on their reefers
good info, unfortunately a lot of these agents have no idea what they need, they just put incorrect info out there and expect us to figure it out when we get there,,,I've noticed that a few will actually put things in the correct category on DAT or just put "van or reefer ok" in the comments,,appreciate the info
Thank you brother for the knowledge
Great video, great information, thanks for sharing!
Great information Brother
Class begins people. Very educational
Thanks for dropping the music!
Lol. Use a free editor. Not the best
Thanks this and your other power only vids have been very helpful. Trailers are very expensive right now, so I'm looking into this segment.
Vans are fairly easy to find if you want to do "loadouts" I've even seen some for rent on the load board
Good information. We just stopped hauling cars and moved to power only. Just figuring out the learning curve now. Thanks for the help.
Absolutely,, I've heard people say they made good money hauling cars,,why are you switching up?

The height is different on a roll down door than a swing door. Some forklifts actually cannot fit inside.

GOOD info ,, i didnt realize the roll doors were shorter
Good information bro 👍

I don't think so. Are they an agency or broker? I always check credit before I use a new agency. If you have there mc# I can check for you

Are you from Memphis? I'm glad they finally got that bridge done.
@@steadytrucker born & raised and me too
I'm from Memphis also and waiting on authority.
@@jrock901jj I've got everything done now. Feels pretty good not giving up that percentage anymore
