    Violent crime has increased exponetially since 2018.
    Why is the budget of the SAPS being decreased every year, is it because the state is trying its best to save money instead of saving lives and protecting the citizens?

    Violence in rural areas and townships is complex and has deep historical roots. It enables former oppressors and economic elites to maintain their power. This issue also highlights how the government prioritises the security of the wealthy over the well-being of those who are poor and marginalised. There is a clear need for change.
