Usually they are done in German and English. Buuut... It can be a bit of a gamble how the English of the conductor in question sounds like. So far my favorite announcements: a lady doing the announcements at the station (those are rarely not prerecorded so this is an actual gem) that sounded exactly like Consuela. This was even more noticeable during the English version of the announcement. The other one was a young man that sounded totally normal, nothing special train conductor when speaking German... But in English he had the most exaggerated, over the top customer service happy voice with a hint of that tonality that the stereotypical gay guy has in parody movies. It was hard not to laugh. It was soooo different from what he sounded speaking German.
