As someone who works at an airport, I can confirm that junk like 17:38 happens all the time to the information marquees. I once saw an arrivals screen glitch out and the list ended up displaying sideways. Some have also been on for so long without a break that they've burned images into the screens, which can make them hard to read.

The glitchy GPS moments remind me of my old family car, which was manufactured in Japan and hadn’t be recalibrated to show our country’s map. Every time my parents drove me to school, the map would show us in a massive body of water with a little blip in the middle of the screen indicating that’s where our car was, and the voice in the car would freak out (still speaking Japanese so we couldn’t understand her though)
I don’t know if we still use or even have that car anymore, but it was the funniest thing.
