This is a great turbo. I have this on my FG Ute with the GFB waste gate actuator. Makes 547 HP on 98 and 666 on e85 at the hubs. Of course has all the typical bolt on mods and valve springs and head studs.

These Turbo Barra utes will become classics over the next 10 years. I’d love to see what a towing tune would look like. Max torque and great fuel economy. Would you ever consider an e10 tune?
Just a FYI, those dayco overflow tanks the lids don’t seal properly. I’d recommend getting another lid from supercheap auto. Have had them not seal properly 3x when I had a dayco. Bought a lid from supercheap and didn’t have any issues.
Yeppp… had this issue too, kept boiling over when I turned the car off, after about 2 weeks I finally figured it out… I made a few pressure tester out of the old dayco lid only to find the lid seals are shit 😂
@@ZacBaldy Yea, considering you had the old falcon I had a feeling you would of had that issue atleast once or twice. I saw you had it on your overflow in the current vid and thought may as well give a heads up. It took me ages to figure out what the issue was on my BA and why I had air in my lines and came back to being the shit cap! You would think the Dayco lids would be decent but nope, absolutely shit.
@ 1000% same issue I had, I could drive anywhere, 10 mins or 2 hours, no issues with overheating, the moment I turned it off it would boil over... I bled it for hours trying to fix it only to put a standard cap on and fix it :P The issues come with pressure prevents boiling, so the moment the dayco lids release that pressure they just boil and loose their coolant, the ford caps seal and hold pressure muchhh better, prevents boiling, nothing to do with any air pockets or anything... so dumb :')
Keep an eye on that coolant bottle the dayco caps are known to be a bit shit and not hold pressure. Just slap your old cap on the new bottle and will be as good as new
@ZacBaldy the turbine isn't really worth the mention because it's only the fin count not the inducer exducer size. It flows better predominantly because of the larger billet compressor.
I have the same set up like yours , on a hub dyno I made 419 kw 562 hp ATW 814 nm ON 19 psi on pcmtec tune on 98. The pulsar 3582 gen 2 is quite capable , the 76 in my opinion is a better turbo for a daily driver , comes on earlier and feels stronger down low .
@ yep on 98 with a standard intake with a high flow panel filter,wanted a stealth look under the bonnet , you should easily make another 30 kw with a pod filter to the turbo
I was watching one of your videos and you were cleaning your headlights as they were bit sad the kit that you got to bring them back together. It not only cleaned them but it put another a film on them
My setup is pretty much the same, different exhaust and different wastegate, but other than that it's the same, made 550whp on 98, instruction to tuner was "It's a daily it makes what it makes just keep the engine happy" Off topic, was that an orient bambino
It will be alot laggier than the stock 3576, a garrett gtx g2 3582r is laggier than a gt3582r by about 300rpm but the gtx comes on harder. So your pulsar will probably be about 500-700 rpm laggier than your stock 3576. Iv tested them all, im now running a borg efr9174.
The difference with the factory turbo is it’s a Garrett just like you stated. Not a piece of Cheap Chinese rubbish. Why oh why do people cheap out on a car they love?
Smart not using a Antz Turbo, i been trying to get onto Antz for a rebuild or a replacement for over a year , turbo shit it after 2nd dyno pull , he does nothing but ignore me on facebook and ignore my emails

I had the same issue with the Dayco lid. Replaced the whole thing with genuine ford.

Same goal for my ute 500hp had fun doing my dump pipe yesterday getting close myself 🎉

If you get 420HP you should be happy with that. You have a light rear end, 500 horses might be a bit too much power for the Ute Zacsta.

Ive got a psr3584rs on an Ecotec it makes 7psi boost at 2000rpm on the falcon it'll be on boost just off idle.
