I remember watching this on MTV as a child, I didn't understand the lyrics since I wasn't too good at English, but it would be the only thing to calm me down as I was very afraid of the dark back then.
This song in particular gives me some hard memories from that time, sweating and creeping up under my blanket, turning on the television to ward off the ghosts and listening to this, I literally felt that the Foo Fighters were inside of my bedroom making me company during the dark nights of being alone.
There was a point in time where I couldn't remember the name of this song and it made me very sad as it had an impact on me growing up, thank god I found it again and was able to re-experience it with my newfound English skills, it's like listening to the song for the first time all over again. It might not be their most popular song, but it might as well be to me.
We all have our Foo-Favourites. Great story, bro. :)

I think it’s been played twice, but both times Dave has been unable to sing the high notes. So that’s probably why. Same reason why they don’t do These Days or Long Road to Ruin very much anymore

This song is one of the dearests for me. It helps me cope and remind my mother that passed away 14 years ago. She was 39 at the time, and this year I turn 30. It's like this song is a short space-time where I can meet with her, laugh, cry, relieve, wonder how she would see me now, and smile every time I picture her dancing from across the room, in another life.
Stay strong, bro. I lost my mother too, although later than you did, and - as many - I totally understand you.
She is sure proud of you, as I hope mine is proud of me (she would have hated Foo Fighters, though :D )

I still can't believe Taylor is gone. He had so much life and energy which shone through in every song, video and interview he did. I'm only a fan and I'm devastated so I can only image how his family and band must feel.

When I was a teenager i just appreciated Nirvana. I grew wiser (love them both now), Dave Grohl is an amazing songwriter and singer, he is not just singing to sound "cool" like many singers do. I feel so much listening to him. Foo fighters are fantastic

I'm not sure what this song is about but for me it symbolises the part of a relationship that turns bad and you're fighting over everything. Then you look back to when things were good and you wish you had those days back.

This song brings me so much nostalgia. I used to listen to this album in my car with my mom and sisters (I was like 9 at the time). The thing is when my younger sister sang the chorus of the song instead of saying “a little bit of resolve, is what I need now” she’d sing “a little bit of resolve, tsunami meow” 😂😂🤣
