I had pain in my upper arms, shoulders, back and neck to the extent it was affecting my sleep and restricting my movement. Your trigger point techniques, especially on the outer chest muscles have eliminated my discomfort and my mobility has returned to normal. This worked when expensive sports massages proved in effectual. Many thanks.

OMG. This is a core chronic issue I’ve developed. I listened to your video while I used a firm ball on the wall. Just going back and forth and holding in a few places. Both the infraspinatus and teres minor muscles are so tight. I didn’t see the link to the free trigger point point video. This has pointed me in the right direction to begin working this out.

thanks for the good info! I have muscle knots around my rhomboids, scapula and even near neck. been going to physiotherapy for a while ( 5 weeks, once per week) after doctor said nothing was terribly wrong with rotator cuff or cervical spine , bit better but the knots are still there. Is that normal that the knots have not gone away yet? I repeat the same exercises at home and do self massage with lacrose ball and the trigger fairy.

Where did you say the exercises are to release the infrspinatus? Pretty sure that’s what I have. I just need to cure it.

As an amateur bodybuilder I've heard that working on chest muscles actually pull your shoulders inwards, creating rounded shoulders which is exactly what you advised against. Maybe working on back muscles help more in that particular situation.

What you have heard is correct. However, this only happens if the muscles shorten (if not stretched and massaged)
Working the chest in and on itself is no problem. Problems only occur if one is overdoing it and does not blance it.

There are internal (and external) rotation exercises for rotator cuff injuries that can be done on cable machines a the gym ... google or youtube these. Also lookup how to do exercises (cable and otherwise) so as to provide Eccentric Contraction as well.
