Hammond has his cane, Nedry doesn't have the Barbisol can but he has the stick, and Muldoon has his SPAS... but its a real shame that Ian Malcom doesn't come with one big pile of dinosaur poop.
I really appreciate that Michael is one of the people who “gets it.” Not everybody does, but he always notices the little things and why and where they should or shouldn’t be. It’s very satisfying to see and hear, whether it’s JP, Star Wars, G.I. Joe etc. Idk if it’s my OCD, or nerdiness or what, but I love it. Great review, great channel, as always.
I'm really happy with what Mattel is doing with Jurassic Park. I just wish they'd do more legacy sets and expand to the other Jurassic Park movies

The first Jurassic Park film will always be the best.
I'm happy to find another person who JUST likes the very first movie. I too don't care for any of the sequels.

Hey Mike! What I ended up doing (yeah it cost more to do it) - was pick up a spare #18 Jeep on eBay and a spare Nedry set, then took the mirrors from the spare #12 and modified them to glue onto my original #18. Then the spare #18 I took the bottom chassis and swapped that into the #12 (moving the sticker for the license plate). So not counting the extra two I have (for parts), I now have #12 & #18 - both with mirrors, both with winches, and the tires on #12 now also are the better #18 tires (from my extra #18) with the Goodrich logos. I got extra tires with a Jada Brand Jeep that I painted and glued on the back of #18. I painted a few trim pieces black to match them better. AND... had to paint the extra red stripe that #12 should have (no clue why it was left off). So with extra Jeeps for parts and some paint, both my "prime" versions of #12 and #18 are better. But yeah, they should have been that way from the beginning... Oh, you need the Legacy Brachiosaurus! ;o)
As a big legacy collector fan the one thing that annoyed myself the JP community about the Nedry set was THE RED STRIPE missing over the rear panel..Promos showed it but actual product it was nixed. So close but so far...but I do appreciate they are trying to represent the past films with the legacy collection.
I like that Nedry is actually built like Wayne Knight, and that, though he doesn’t come with a canonical accessory, he at least doesn’t come with a non-canonical one.
Great review! The sculpts on these figures look very nice. I’ve actually seen the Jeep set at Target a couple times and have been tempted to pick it up.

It is nice to be able to find these two sets on the shelves. Unfortunately, they're about the only JP on the shelves in 3 3/4" scale. Every once in a while I see some of the smaller dinosaurs show up for a day or two, and then they're gone. They appear to be leaning into their new Amber Collection line, which is 6" scale, and not very appropriate for a dinosaur line.
My 9 year old loves this line. I just got her the Nedry and Jeep. It's the best 3.75 inch out line right now. Great vehicles and beasts....and you can find it at retail for a decent price.
Also note that Muldoon’s jeep(the one used to escape the T.rex) also had additional tool boxes at the backseat where Malcolm sits during the chase and no roll bar.
I really want these because I loved the movies. Yes, even Lost World. But these are so hard to get over seas. When are these toy companies gonna realize the customer potential by going global?
I’d be interested if they made the camper convoy from Lost World, the one the T Rexs push halfway over the cliff
Now that the T Rex escape pack with the Explorer is out, i hope you do a video on it too. All Mattel is missing now is Lex, which is what Kenner omitted. But Lex and Ellie saved Jurassic Park (for the day)
The first two Jurassic Park films are my favorites.
For me Jurassic Park 3 is the best, I love what they did with the raptors made them very intelligent and highly dangerous.
