Wow, dude... I already have bought the 300 instax camera to do those mods with a friend of my that also has a 3D printer. Man, I have no words to express how much you have amazed me. I will try all those mods for my own at december, and I'll tag you to express my gratitude! I hope to make a vídeo as well.
Looking at ordering. Was wondering if youve used an external rangefinder on this set up before? Like a watameter or something similar. Also with the 75mm f4.5 mamiya lens what would the equivalent focal length be?
Sometimes I do on the top mounted cold shoe, with a cold shoe extender. The horizontal field of view equivalent of 75mm on Instax Wide is 27mm, so a 28mm finder will come closest.
Amazing product!! But i have 1 question, how can you tell if a shot is in focus or not since the original has auto focus and this is obviously manual? Does it show up on the viewfinder?
You will need to learn some focusing but it’s easy and the lenses 100mm and wider are forgiving. Early on I relied on an accessory rangefinder though. Also laser measurement tools are helpful in lower light.
I made the modification by myself and destroyed the film roll gear by using a long bolt ( it sits exactly on the top of it). By being too long it reached the gear teeth. Now my question: is it possible to use the Instax 100 to trade film ejection gears ?
I honestly have never opened up an Instax 100, but worth attempting if you find a cheap one. I would expect there are small design revisions that could impact normal usage or gearing/spacing though. Have seen it in other parts of the wide 300 itself where some earlier models got some upgraded areas and direct swaps are not possible. But again, I am for testing the theory and proving it a go/no-go if the cost is right.

@@sprkplg thanks for the reply!
The original does not have autofocus it's just stopped down to f12 and blurry enough you cant tell lol

Beautiful work! I would love to get one of those range finder holders for my own modded instax.
Ryan Heitman same laser or do you have a different one?
Thanks so much! Can't wait to buy one!
Can I use this Mamiya Press mod and your adapter kit on the Fuji Instax 210?
No, unfortunately. It’s not the same front attach point as the 210 doesn’t have a focus ring. Also the FFD is more than likely different.
Thank you so much for the info. I will just get the Instax 300 to use with your adapter or maybe just get the LigeroLG. 😊
This looks awesome! Shame you've sold out/discontinued.
thats so cool!
Take my money! I have the grey 300, would you do the install or just sell the kits?
Did you manage to get it done? I made the mod by myself
@@igehring nah. Lost focus and forgot.
It is a really good way to have great sharpness and control. Maybe one day you will grab the idea again
what's the source for the light meter please , Mario ? Rosemi ?
Reveni-labs.com
Can’t wait to get mine in, bud!
Does it loses the self timer feature with all of the modded Camaras?
organicproduced yes it loses that and all original functions
what do you calibrate your rangefinder to?
Are these ever going to come back in stock?
No, I am no longer making them. This month is also the last month I’ll make any other completed mods, too.
@@sprkplg Ah that's a shame. Thanks for the reply I'll check out the shop
