Shawn was a beautiful man. We got chatting on messenger years ago and he took the time to listen to some of the demos of songs I wrote when my dad passed away. I’m just a bedroom musician, but he was sweet and gracious and encouraging and had obviously really listened to the words and music despite it being very home made and amateurish. He was so happy to see all his fans the first round of solo shows in London (Putney) and had a beer with us after the show. A true gentleman. God bless you Shawn. Your music was our little gang’s precious secret. Much missed brother.

It's a mind-blowing track. I get the chills everytime I listen to it. I was completly surprissed when I saw a new track from Brad in my release radar.
Shawn and I shared a birthday. Hearing "In The Moment That You're Born" today, on what would have been my dad's 91st birthday, hit me really hard, but in the most beautiful way. ❤ Fingers double crossed that Satchel: EDC will be released on vinyl in my lifetime. It's one of my very favorite albums to come out of the entire Seattle scene (I lived there from 1986-1999). Thank you, Regan.

Wow what great track from the new album. I love the lo fi vibe it has and this is a perfect send off for Shawn and the rest of Brad. I remember when I bought the first record Shame back in July of 1993. Had alot great time listening to that record and Brad has never disappointed me since. Can't wait for the new LP to come out.

That was awesome! Looking forward to the new album as well as the 30th anniversary LE's. The final piece of this puzzle is getting Satchel EDC on vinyl. Released in 1994, a 2024 edition would make sense. As well as Malfunkshun's Return to Olympus. Those two would round out my vinyl collection. Regan.... Stone..... give us some hope!!!!

Stone’s guitar work on this is simply superb. Easily one of my favorites for him. The song is huge in an understated way. Or understated in a huge way. I love the structure so much. Almost wanted to hear the chorus one more time. But less is more. The vocal is really interesting. Was it pitch-shifted to align with the music at all or was the song tracked when Shawn was still with us? What I would give to be able to talk to the guys about this song and entire album project!

I really believe that from 1:40 is the best thing Stone has ever played. Ever.
