Never understood why this band wasn't more popular; so much talent. Stone Gossard has to be one of the best songwriters in decades, and Shawn Smith's vocals are always on point. The Monument album Shawn and Regan Hagar collaborated on with Kevin Wood is another relatively unknown musical gem.
RIP Shawn. Too many gone from that explosive era in rock music.

It's been said a thousand times, but this band is criminally unknown. I wish they all could have reaped rewards equal to their level of talent and the unbelievable quality of so many of their songs. I still get a thrill initiating new listeners 30 years later. Thanks, guys.

Wow just discovered this band 2 years ago.... I really ended up liking them especially in a time I had thought Id heard all... Then this band comes to my attention... Having been a pearl jam fan, I was stoked to find out the was Stone Gossards side project... Now to find out the singer just passed away earlier this year unbeknownst, it is a sad day for me... R.I.P. Shawn Smith.
Rip Shawn Smith, sad to see you go, but happy to see & hear what you've left.... The most under the radar musician from the early Seattle scene with a prolific catalogue.

Wow, huge PJ fan and a big Brad fan. Just peeked in - "Waters Deep" and "The Last Bastion" sound absolutely awful. Like Spinal Tap bad. Incredible. Those songs were hideous. Not the Brad I recall.
