Will Take Charge had a nice prep over the track coming best late in the Jim Dandy. Nice price for a fairly logical horse. Orb actually ran better than I thought he would and would have benefited from having a prep race. Shug has to be kicking himself a little not running him in the Jim Dandy.

Well I usually don't make excuses like this, but it seems as if he doesn't like running on the rail... you'll notice every race he finishes 3-4th he's made to run on the rail and every race he gets 1st he some how managed to swing to the outside
Is anyone else confused as to why this year's 3 yos love to run poorly and then win and then run poorly again? Will Take Charge has had so many chances to show up, but today he actually decides to. Makes me question this year's 3yos..for another year in a row
won just over 40 on this race. Had most of my money on Orb.. He's been a let down.. Really like Orb but WTF! & Verrazano?? WTF happened there??? This race really is a graveyard of favorites! Was kickin myself for not placing more on WTC! At 8-1 woulda been a great payday
Verrazano cannot get the distance..how is it silly to say...he was right there..what traffic?..he sat third..he couldnt keep up and couldnt go on with it..dont make excuses for underacheiving horses..stop it..he just isnt as good as people want him to be...nothing new
i started going to the races when i was in high school with my dad back in the 90s you know what i hate now a days besides the casinos ruining the track atmosphere ? lol how we dont get to see champions anymore because the retire them to stud

In the old days we used to marvel at "D. Wayne Off the Plane" whenever he shipped in his (always) live horses for Graded Stakes races.

Obvious verrazano doesnt want the distance..nice horse..but this proves the derby wasnt a track condition thingy..good ride on WTC

It's all about form cycles. He was in an upward form cycle.
The rail horse ending third was obviously outrun.
He was my pick for the derby but he ran into some problems but i knew he had a big one in him

This really angers me. Orb deserved to win! ORB WAS AMAZING!!! He has Man o' War AND Secretariat in his bloodlines! THE TOP TWO COLTS OF ALL TIME!!!!
