I have a 3,5. And 8 year old and we all sit at the table together for school, that has changed, I used to teach my older kids one at a time during my youngest nap time, but now my 8 year old can read well, and she does so much on her own, i work with my 5 year old and my pre-schooler has special educational toys only for school time, and I always have her trace her name, and color and cut out a picture, she knows what to do now and sits there busy for awhile, after she's done, she gets playdoh or water colors etc. Or a toy like magna tiles. This came at a good time for me. I recently became a housewife and I kinda don't know what to do with my time now. I eithet end up working all day and forget to eat or I end up not accomplishing anything and just play around all day. Rhythms and balance are really what I need help with! 😅
I love the idea of a visual schedule. I've considered this but I haven't implemented it. I love the concept of "rhythm". We are not at the school-age yet.
