I didn’t expect that officer to breakdown like that 😥
Police officers are people too, they have feelings and family just like anyone else.
I know tf I’m crying in the club sir????
came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed it too. looked and sounded like he was trying to hold back from crying
She's so belligerent and the officer cared so much. He's got to have kids around that age.
I hope that kid becomes a cop or at least meets the officer again. On good terms, of course.
I was a kid saved by people like you. We never forget. I'm 26 now and I still remember the people who kept me safe from the demon I lived with. I know it's hard but we are so tthankful to you.

Who says that about their child?! They should try to fight for their lives for their kids. That was horrible what a clown 🤡
People have no problem getting abortions out of convince, why would you not expect them to do the same with a toddler.
They are trying to turn everyone into a narcissist, and it's clearly working on her.

Agreed. Wish we could see more of these types and not just the dirty ones.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the officers but what decent human being wouldn't show empathy for that 2 year old? The officers did their jobs to the best of their abilities and I thank god for that but if you're incapable of harming the situation like those guys did, than you shouldn't be a cop...pure and simple.

Sarah it’s a misdemeanor for public intox. Seeing as it’s not a felony or violent , she may she still a chance
Scott Dancer oh oops, I live in Canada so we don’t have misdemeanours and felonies so I’m not sure how they work exactly. Here I’m pretty sure, she’d never have a chance, like at all. If it were up to me she’d be in jail for endangering that poor child. So sad.

That officer probably has children of his own. My heart breaks for that little boy. May he find a good loving home.
He did say "as a parent" so more than likely he was referring to himself. Regardless, it's heartbreaking either way that there are "parents" out there that have so little regard for their children.
You could tell he was choking up
They aren’t going to adopt the child out.. that may be her 1st time getting that drunk. They probably gave her parenting classes
You can tell he sound he was about to cry
Hopefully, she wises up and decides to be a responsible parent. That would be the best-case scenario, but I also know that it isn't likely to happen.
Hey kid who was rescued. 20 years from now, go find that cop. He wants to see you.
I time travel to read internet comments in the past too...
if by rescued u mean taken away from the family permanently because they caught his mother drunk once. who is to say that kid isnt better off with his mom than in the system. that could have been me for the amount of times my father drove drunk with me. I was never in an accident. certainly wouldnt have liked to have been ripped from my family to be put with strangers. i wouldn't be surprised if 20 years from now that kid developed a drug habit and wouldn't mind reuniting with officer "crocodile tears for the camera" Flores and massage his head with a lead pipe

Seriously. Completely heart breaking. Some people are so gross. Beyond disgusting.
the saddest part is that the officer was trying to figure out any way for the child to not be taken away completely from his family even if removed from the mother and she just didn't care. Didn't beg didn't try to find a solution just said take him do what you are going to do.
