Still got an hour left on the vod so Idk if anyone's mentioned it yet but I wanted to mention it before I forget. A tip I found while browsing Google about those locked Chests in Tartarus is that the ones on the Boss Floors have fixed loot, meaning it's the same every playthrough and doesn't respawn and is always worth using your Twilight Fragments on. The locked Chests on the regular floors are completely random and can respawn and generally don't have as good of stuff so if you want to save your Fragments feel free to skip those ones. Can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of the game and have fun!
Someone probably told you, or probably already knew, but basic weapons are divided into three types: Slash, Strike, and Pierce. These can also serve as affinities and weaknesses for Shadows. Physical Persona skills (that use HP) are also divided into these types, but are more usually more powerful than the basic weapon.
Interestingly I actually noticed part way through this stream that Makoto and Junpei were doing slash damage while Yukari was doing pierce and THEN I realised OH enemies must be weak to different attack types! Thank you for the clarification though! It didn't dawn on me until this stream haha!
The desing of angel is one of my favorite because it actually makes sense, she is supossed to be a guardian angel, every human has one thats why the chains because she will be always with us and she is blindfolded because she cannot judge us.
The "rush" button is auto-combat, but it never uses anything but basic attacks. The settings you can use in Tactics can still use spells, even if you say "conserve SP" since the AI may decide you need healing. It's mostly useful when you're plowing through way underleveled content just to farm drops.
One thing to remember about skill cards is that they are single use, and once you teach the skill to a persona, you'll want to NOT treat them as replaceable, since it's only that one instance that knows it... if you register them and re-summon them it's fine, but if you find a new one in the wild, THAT new one starts over..... so be careful not to accidentally register a higher level "new" one over the one you gave a skill to. :)
Oh, don't worry about the staying in a dungeon too long... yet. ("Shots don't hurt other players, yet!" --Gauntlet). Once you get to a high enough level in Tarter Sauce, Death notices you exist, and if you linger too long, he will start hunting you.
One more tip for dungeon crawling... if you use a one-way teleporter and can't get back to that floor because you'd already gone higher... you CAN undercut and then use the LB shortcut menu to just instnatly "go to next floor" a few times. The maps persist during your current Tarter Sauce run, so once you find the exits, you can fast travel with them. In your case, you were on floor 9, so you could have jumped back to 5 and then zipped through 5, 6, 7, 8 with the shortcut. For future reference if you want to be "complete", which I sometimes do.
Recent reliable leaks about Atlus confirmed that Persona 1 Remake and Persona 2 IS+EP Special Remaster (improved original version of 2 games in 1) is currently in the works. Persona 2 and Persona 4 Remakes seems to be planned too at some point as well if its the case.
In P3P, you had the choice of track team, kendo, or swim for the female MC I think? That's why they have the little previews, since you'll see that environment whenever you do an activity for them. In P3R, there is only the track team (so far).
Oh, and I'm sure you figured this out by now... but the game isn't saying don't do the fight, it's saying "Hey, if you return to the entrance, you can SAVE before you go back in and try the fight." ;)
Heh, I hear you about wanting to see the story of some games but not having 100+ hours to invest in ALL of them. Some of them have decent anime adaptations,, and another thing you can do is look for other youtube people who have done "summary" videos of the game story as they played, cutting out the combat and grinding parts just to show all the cut scenes and events that are key to the story itself. There are a few games I've played that I'd do that for, if they were new games NOW. Can't get back all the hours I've sunk into them though! ;)
If they do intend to add a female MC as DLC, they'll probably do that fairly soon. The thing is, it's a lot more work than you might think, and there's politics involved too. Not only do you need to do the relationship arcs for the male characters that the new MC will interact with, but you have to adjust dialog for ones that are already "done", so they make sense. That ranges from the full story arcs, to trivial things like comments made by characters when you change your wardrobe. P3P did a remarkably good job with it, and they can certainly use that as a starting point... but I say it'd be soon simply because you don't want to lose any of the current voice actors (Japanese AND English) before you're done adding content that might need them again.
I would love for them to remaster the two Persona 2 games and the original, but I also suspect Persona 6 is coming up on the horizon. They've already released the dance spin-off, and an action spin-off, and a tactics spin-off for P5, so they're almost out of ways to milk that one. Atlas likes to have a new game cooking while they do spin-off games to keep the money coming in... and the dance games have always done well in Japan.
Everyone talks about how bad Kenji is, but it probably tells me they never did the moon arcana for this game. The Gourmet King is such an awful person.
The Gourmet King route isnt just being an echo chamber for a bad idea like Kenjis is, its easier to disregard a jerk like Suemitsu than a decent guy making poor choices
Yeah, Atlus seems was a bit struggling to how "truly" acknowledge original Persona trilogy as part of the whole modern Persona series and there are few reasons why it can be the case: like somewhat controversial topic with character cameo in P2, or the fact that Original games and Modern games where developed by totally different teams of people in Atlus with pretty different visions on the series, even if we count PSP ports. Or its just weird Atlus and Sega marketing and planning as always, etc, who knows for sure i cant tell. But they did include all Original Trilogy Protagonists (it isnt directly connected but only SMT Persona IF sort-of-prequel of whole seires one is not there) in 25th Anniversary art works, there are some official merch with it, references to it in Modern games (like Kirijou Group being spun off Nanjo Group from Persona 1), etc.
Considering that Atlus as a whole with all divisions are busy on so many projects it seems i also started to doubt that Persona 6 is anywhere close lol.
Atlus already stated they arent doing a rerelease for P3R, and a translated interview mentions how the cost and effort to make FeMC in P3R is MUCH higher than what was needed for The Answer/Episode Aigis so its not happening.

It’s unlikely FEMC will be included as DLC since the person who leaked the existence of the DLC to begin with have said that she won’t be included
If they Remake FeMC Route they probably make separate game or withing a full version of Reload at this point.

Aww, I slept in and woke up too late to watch the stream... hope you had a great time, though!
Awww I hope you had a great sleep! Oh I am loving this game haha, enjoying the combat in Tartarus so much! Can't wait to play more!
Thanks for another fun stream.
生で見るのできなかったけど、楽しそうにゲームしてるのを見れて嬉しいです
ストーリーを最後までやり切るのを楽しみにしてます
The main reason to go through the early floors again is to gather stuff... especially twilight shards.
If I were watching this stream, I would have spammed you to go under the stairs of the mall LOL
Great stream though!
Can't Wait For Her to Fight The Grim Reaper

Poor kenji, cut my boi some slack 😂

Most likely the femc would be added in the sort of rerelease atlus does like
persona golden and persona royal
Hopefully the answer is a dlc
The Answer Remake is DLC to Reload, yes. Confirmed by trusted leak sources.

Who tf said Tartarus has 500 floors 😭
