As a certified Nutritionist, I appreciate your approach and mindset about health and Whole food plant based lifestyle. Enjoyed your pantry staples' list. 😊
Great list of pantry essentials! That’s pretty much what’s in mine too. I heard a quick recipe for beans and rice in the instapot recently: 2 cups of dried beans, 1 cup of rice, 8 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of a seasoning mix. Set IP for 45 minutes on pressure cook. It’s perfect and I can use my dried beans. I made my first batch with pinto beans, brown rice, and salt free taco seasoning. I top it with salsa and eat with steamed veggies. So easy!
Oh my goodness Wendy! In 10 minutes you gave a beautifully thought through, Complete, and highly educational outline of a well stocked kitchen. I know that must have taken you a massive amount of time to put together considering that everything was new and freshly in bags. You did it like the champ that you are. I admire your disciplined and organized mind. Bravo! QUESTION: would you be interested in being interviewed by me on my channel, to then share on yours or wherever you would like? I would very much like you to tell your story, you can do a recipe, or you could simply choose what it is you would like to say.
Hi Nan! Thanks so much for the offer! I'm definitely interested in hearing more. Would you mind sending me an email with the details? My email is: hello@showmemovegan.com
I’m so glad to see carob powder on your list! I’m allergic to cocoa, so carob is the only way for me to enjoy a chocolate flavor. I’d love to hear about your ideas for using it in a video someday:)
Yes I'm so glad I found carob powder! I think it is just a tasty as chocolate! I recently did a cake recipe video where I made a "chocolate" cake and I also have a "chocolate" pistachio cookie using carob powder that you might like: ruclips.net/video/n3RqoUs0UUk/видео.html ruclips.net/video/8UpTUhsfnPc/видео.html
Thank you! I’m in the process of re designing my kitchen . Please do a video of how you store your appliances The ones I use are my vitamix and crockpot and toaster oven but I’d like to start using my imstapot ..
You're welcome! And that's exciting! I'm very lucky to have lots of cabinet space in my kitchen, so storage is not a big issue for me. I do have a really old kitchen tour video where I show everything in my cabinets. It's kind of a long video, but the first segment goes through my cabinets with dishes, appliances, etc. I can put it on my list to try to do an updated video but in the meantime here's the old one if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/PE0-XFN46Mo/видео.html

What a great resource Wendy! Thank you. ❤ It may be a controversial ingredient but I also keep Butler’s Soy Curls in my pantry.
You're welcome! And yes, I don't use them often, but I think soy curls are a great option to keep on hand!
Great video! Yes love a well stocked pantry and freezer!
Thanks for watching!
I'm stocked up for a nuclear winter of plant-based goodies.
Thanks!
You're welcome!
We can our own beans. Cheaper than buying store bought canned beans and we control the sodium.
