    A proper Star Trek story presented in a succinct way. Love the allied alien craft, especially the multi-Rings ships.

      @@saucyduckglobalomnihyperme7510 Thanks! Just learning as I go. My effects are so incredibly lame compared to professional effects, but just like TOS, hopefully good enough to get a story across… 😃🖖

      @@bobfischer You've got a great eye for directing sci-fi action. Composition, camera angles and movement -- it's all great and that's a rare talent! Also I like the aesthetic. It is like TOS, or like a sneak peek at the greatest Interplay game never made! 🖖

      @@saucyduckglobalomnihyperme7510 Thanks! Just trying to have fun in the TOS universe… It’s just a major bonus like minded Trek fans might appreciate it. 😀 And positive energy directed my way is a definite motivating factor. Right now pushing my limited animation skills and limited computer resources by doing 20 second clips that need 3-4 days to render… 😫. But all good, it’s a way I can take my own starship and go with it where I may… As Kirk said, “And even if you take away the wind and the water, it's still the same. The ship is yours. You can feel her. And the stars are still there”. True of any ship, the Enterprise, or my Adventure…
      I really need to get a life… 😁🤣🖖

    Great and entertaining. Enjoyed it. IT does seem to be similar to babylon 5 story line

      I think my level of special effects harkens back to Babylon 5. In the 90’s, it took teams of animators in a cutting edge effects studio to do what I can do by myself with more advanced computers and software. But there is no way I can do the quality and detailed animation they do now by myself. But I like the retro look, trying to keep it TOS real as much as I can…
      Also my Korg Triton Extreme keyboard is probably what they used to make the B5 music… 😛
      Regarding the plot, finding powerful alien technology is a theme B5 got from the 50’s movie, Forbidden Planet”. The planet below with the Great Machine is derived directly from that movie.
      All just an excuse to have a Starship and have… 😛 An Adventure… 😁

      @@bobfischer Forbidden Planet is on of my favorites. I appreciate your skill with the special effects. So far I have been thoroughly entertained. I look forward to more works by you.

    The Hunter's Weapon looks remarkably similar to the " Doomsday Weapon " from the original Star Trek [ They resembled some crazy mis-shapen ice cream cone ! ] and Kirk, 🖖, and Dr. McCoy had to desperately find a way to deactivate this wondering World Killing relic ! Are the Hunters the original designers or operators of the Doomsday Weapon ?

    • @bobfischer
      @bobfischer  День назад

      @@allenlovell1604 The Hunters’ weapon is actually a ship with a crew, not an autonomous robotic vessel, and uses a gravimetric pulse as its primary weapon rather than an anti-proton beam as the Doomsday device. I purposely made it look more organic as all the Hunter ships to give them their own character. So no purposeful connection there with the Doomsday device… 😀🖖

    With one warp nacelle, how fast could that ship be? And how far could it go?

    • @bobfischer
      @bobfischer  2 месяца назад

      @@paktype I would generally agree, but in my scenario they need a super fast ship, (it has a prototype engine faster than a Constitution Class), one that can be equipped and launched quickly, and one that will not be noticed if it disappears.
      To mitigate issues with only one engine, the ship has been modified with a shuttle and a worker bee bay. This combined with new at the time replicators and manufacturing facilities in the ship, would allow them to repair the ship themselves. I actually have a scene in one episode where they repair a damaged nacelle.
      It’s all fiction anyway, but I think my “Trek logic” is sound enough for a fun little journey in the Trek universe… 😃🖖
