So the species that gave you all the advanced weaponry have no Prime Directive, it seems. They just gave Stafleet the power to wipe out "the hunters". Imagine this happening a few generations ago in the Mirror Universe.
The Tranquil gave the ship only passive defensive weapons exactly for that reason, just for their survival but not to give them too much power. It was the Adventure crew that decided to go against the Tranquil to augment and fashion offensive weapons from the technology. And when the technology was misused, it shutdown becoming completely inert, with nothing left even to analyze for scientific knowledge.
In my scenario they need a super fast ship, (it has a prototype engine faster than a Constitution Class), one that can be equipped and launched quickly, and one that will not be noticed if it disappears. To mitigate issues with only one engine, the ship has been modified with a shuttle and a worker bee bay. This combined with new at the time replicators and manufacturing facilities in the ship, would allow them to repair the ship themselves and facilitate producing supplies for a long mission. I actually have a scene in one episode where they repair a damaged nacelle. It’s all fiction anyway, but I think my “Trek logic” is sound enough for a fun little journey in the Trek universe… 😃🖖

A Constitution would not have lasted very long. The enemies just have in general more advanced tech than the Federation, making it a miracle a Federation ship lasted as long as it did. In my scenario they need a super fast ship, (it has a prototype engine faster than a Constitution Class), one that can be equipped and launched quickly, and one that will not be noticed if it disappears. It is generally a Scout Class, but easily modified with Destroyer weapons so it is relatively well armed. However, it mission is not to fight, but to “observe, record, survive, report”… To mitigate issues with only one engine, the ship has been modified with a shuttle and a worker bee bay. This combined with new at the time replicators and manufacturing facilities in the ship, would allow them to repair the ship themselves. I actually have a scene in one episode where they repair a damaged nacelle. It’s all fiction anyway, but I think my “Trek logic” is sound enough for a fun little journey in the Trek universe… 😃🖖

Sometimes you can fake being hurt just to see how someone would treat you. A kind act so this federation ship could help others. The gifts were given because space can be dangerous. And those aliens knew it well.
Yes, music too loud in some episodes, all an experiment. Background music when put too far in foreground makes it easier to discern the repeating patterns. So, yes, still working on integrating the music better. And I actually compose and record that music myself. I want to create a unique vibe for the videos, but it can always get better… 😃🖖
That was the point of texturing the ship that way! I was trying to show the ship had been beaten up rather badly. After that the ship looks a lot better, having time for repairs because of the new defensive systems… 😃🖖
@@bobfischer I could definitely see a couple of ensigns out on the hull with paint rollers trying to do a “stucco pattern” (because they’re on punishment detail or something and they’re bored) like that one guy on the “red Dwarf”(I’m not sure if it was Lister or some other crewman, but it’s definitely funny)
it's right there. (only one, attached directly to the neck - which I assume stays with the nacelle when/if the saucer seperates.) Not a new design, just less frequently used. Looks like what I used to do with AMT model kits, before I realized the value-appreciation of complete & intact 1960's AMT model kits.
@@xheralt Yes, not any kind of normal warp drive. The more advanced worlds, The Mariners, The Tranquil, and the Hunters (at least for their star system killer) all use some kind of jump drive. In that part of the galaxy that is the tech the advanced races have developed… For the Hunters they can only use that jump drive for their biggest ships because of the power requirements (they are not quite as advanced as the others), and even then, only sparingly. That is why the Adventure can out run the smaller Hunter ships that use a warp variant, and the erratic evasive course of the Adventure makes the jump drive of the Star system killer useless for hunting them down. And that really pisses off the Hunters… Anyway, that is the relevant part of the back story… 😃🖖
