Is there a track condition where you would use the small shims? Like no shims for lower bite and 4 shims for higher bite.

I asked Adam Drake the same question and he said he removes the 4 small shims for all track conditions.

When making a mark on the diff case, does it matter which way (top/bottom) the cross shaft's (E2240) are placed back on after each rebuild?
