Yeah so before season 3 was announced, they made Hilda and the mountain king as a movie that happens after the events of season 2, pretty good movie too
Amazing reaction as always. I find it so fascinating that despite the fact Hilda learned her lesson abt actions having consequences back in s2ep8 and started to understand her mother in that very same episode, she still doesn't tell her mom what's going on in her life. This is realistic, because learning and changing takes time, and it also shows us that Hilda still isn't quite used to the city way of life, as in the wilderness she could do whatever she wanted to and didn't have to tell her mom abt it. It shows that no matter how u raise ur child (since Johanna is a pretty good mom) there will still be problems in ur communications and normalises it. And that's beautiful.
Yeah, I guess old habits die hard, and for people who have lived in one place their entire lives it's hard to have everything you've ever known ripped out from under you feet and be thrown into the unknown, so I imagine it's hard for her to adjust and not miss the life she used to have
I love the "grandma watching soup opera and arguing with the characters" enery of your videos. I also love the intro dance, don't need to apologize for that
Damn, I sorta relate but not really, since I reacted to the finale of season 2 back in June and I'm finally back to recording this week so I had to wait 3 month, 3 agonizing months (of course 3 months is not a full on year, so my heart goes out to all you brave souls)
The Moments where Hilda and Johanna Argued at its Peak might have a Deeper Connection than you might have Percieve at first of Hilda just being a kid, Especially when Hilda was Telling Johanna that 'Its not my Fault you are Lonely' which might have meant from the fact that her mom was the one who pushed Dad away/ Divorced Dad in the first place, A Person who loved her from when she was a Baby, now resent her mother over not being able to visit her Father growing up ( Just like how she isn't able to go to Frida's house because of Mom)... That's Sad and Really Poetic💔 + Saying that She's just a Mum could have symbolise that Johanna treats Hilda more as a Daughter to her as her Mom but not as Friends the whole time until she has become much older to finally realize the conclusion of that Scene...
Ooh, I didn't know she was divorced, I thought the husband had died or that she was a single mother since the beginning or something like that. I guess if she's a child of divorced parents that yeah it makes sence that she could possibly blame her mother for that. Thanks for the comment ✨💕
I've been waiting for this for a while omg, now for the movie! As for Gerda, unfortunately Alberg's her superior, so there ain't really much she can do about it. The bully troll got scared of that slug because it eats stone (I thought it was obvious xD) Anyways I've really enjoyed your reaction for this and I can't wait for you to watch the movie, take care!
Yeah.... Unfortunately Gerda can't stand up for herself... Yet, we're starting to see her come out of Alhberg's shadow, I just hope the town folk realize she's a better fit. And YES! onto the movie, I've been dying to react to the movie since June
Ooooh my GOSH I AM SO DUMB, I did not realize it was because he's made of STONE!!!!! That makes sense, I feel like an idiot now 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this literally just clicked
