🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

Hey brother, I'm on a similar boat, though I've been able to keep my feelings hidden, it gets kinda hard whenever it's just me and them (though just some positive criticism, admitting your crush to someone one who is currently dating someone else, isn't the best idea, but hey, loves a fickle thing, so i can't blame ya).
Like, I had noticed I had developed feelings for them literally the same day their current partner asked them out, so I tried burying my interest, but honestly it's pretty hard, so I still have feelings for them, I just don't act on them. Plus their partner is a really cool person.
The way I see it when you like someone, but they're with someone else, is that the one thing you'd want for your crush to be is happy, so even though they're not with you, if they're happy, that's all that really matters.
Of course, there's still bound to be a bit of romantic jealousy here and there, but that's normal for a crush.
I cringed at myself the other day when we were all hangout out together with friends and my crush was like, "Yeah, when I was with my ex I'd talk to my current SO about how cool they were, and my SO would grit their teeth and say things like "Oh wow, they're so great, I'm so happy for you two." That's me right now with them. But i'm still really happy that they're happy.
