Hello James, another interesting specimen with a sprinkling of butchery. I can't wait to see the repair video. I see several damaged parts that I don't think I've seen you repair before. Always a treat to see your masterful work.
@jamesmartin5370 thank you, have a great Thanksgiving as well. By the way, I picked up a transitional "wag on the wall" project clock. It's about 75% there mechanically. Looking forward to the challenge of getting it back to a running condition.
Thanks James! I haven’t bothered you for awhile but I’m still at it. Really look forward to the repairs on this one & how you choose to go about them. Joel
A butcher has definitely visited this movement before. Wonder how many of these clocks are at the bottom of the sea? Will be interesting how "Ron from Iowa" wants to proceed.
Even if Mr Martin wasn't saying it out loud, I could still hear him saying it. As for me (who has never even looked inside of a watch or clock) was certainly saying it 🤣
Thank you for this report.
Hopefully the owner gives permission to demonstrate your knowledge and skills.
Yes, I will be piecing it together soon.

REAL KEEN TO SEE HOW YOU WORK YOUR MAGIC ON THIS ONE JAMES
It will take some time but will do what it takes.
This watch has had a hard time, I hope the owner will agree to continue the repair
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
And the same to you clan
@@jamesmartin5370 thank you very much
I believe it’s Aichi Tokei since I recognized the trademark. Owned 2 of their wall clock.
Thanks,
This company was important to their country.
Yes, and Aichi is the prefecture of Nagoya. Aiti was another “romanized” spelling of the Aichi prefecture.

Gracias, ahora estoy trabajando en el reloj y pronto lo tendré funcionando y manteniendo la hora. Atentamente.
That poor clock. I hope it gets restored.
Yes, owner has said he wants a running movement.

Yes, this one has seen a lot of attempts of repair its life as a clock.
@@jamesmartin5370 please don’t be stingy with the repair footage…I understand about the editing process but you’re worth it
Good evening professor, where is part 2?
It's still on the bench getting pieced together.
@@jamesmartin5370 Thank you very much

There are many down there being reduced by the salt waters
The makers kanji read Aichi Tokei
Thank You.
That has to be the most butchered movement on your channel yet. And there have been some bad ones.
Yes, it has suffered some bungled butcher's work on it in the past.
Butcher 😂
I will see about giving some life back to this one
Mr Martin you must have had to control yourself ,not to mention the word butcher even once in the entire video.
Believe me, I had them on my mind, those butchers keep me busy that's for sure.
Even if Mr Martin wasn't saying it out loud, I could still hear him saying it.
