Really love this video very informative. The one thing that I would like to see though is more lighting on the projects you printed it’s very hard to see for me. I look for layer lines and imperfections which I’m sure this is what you’re trying to show but I cannot see it in the video but all in all you do a very good job in reporting on these different brands thank you I totally enjoyed it
@@Spd_Rcr sorry for a year late reply, but have they gotten worse recently? Every single elegoo filament I've tried strings and extrudes badly, yet other brands like Naga and Creality work fine. American companies too, no issues
@@TrueNinjafrog Not from my perspective. Have had no major issues. Still my go to for basic colors. Can a get black 10-pack for $100-$110 direct from Elegoo site.
one tip, for the layer adhesion, snap them each the same as you did the one before, on the first one, you snapped it from the sides, but on the second, you snapped it with pressure added in the middle
Thank you for the input That's the one part of the video that I'm not really a fan of so far as the layer adhesion test I want to come up with something a little bit more scientific lol
Thank you for the comment! Yeah I realized this shortly after especially with the black being so dark, definitely going to have better lighting in the future
Nice. One thing though when watching the video you seemed to get clogging in many prints, and it's not clear from the video if you got the clog removed between prints.
Thanks for the comment Peter! Yeah I realize this afterwards especially with the black my other videos should come out a lot better but black is so hard to capture lol
Hi thanks for watching! Yeah please check out my gold video I'd like some feedback on that since that's the second one I did The black was very difficult to come out on film
at the time of filming i would say jayo but they have gotten expensive since ive made thie video, overture is what i would go with atm but prices change all the time

I just got a 2 pack (2x 1kg)of Elegoo black PLA for $23 and change on Amazon. Nice tight wind. Prints great.
I'll have to give them a shot soon and review them

Nice video! Only criticism is the lighting is poor when viewing the towers and benchies. Still, good stuff 👍.
Thank you for the comment! Yeah I realized this shortly after especially with the black being so dark, definitely going to have better lighting in the future
This was great! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this video!
I'm glad you liked it!
i have been using overture for a while now, and its very consistent. Unfortunately its not offered in very many colors.
Yes this is one of the problems with that brand unfortunately but I've had good luck with them in most of the colors I've tried
Elgoo and creality are both very cheap and good.
Thanks for the input!
I've read on multiple reddit posts tha sunlu, jayo, kingroon and another brand are all the same under different names, so I would add Kingroon
In my experience kingroon is definitely different, at least the quality of material for sure
Elegoo now $13 for one Kg on Amazon for black PLA.
Just subscribed to your channel the videos are great! If this was a series that would be perfect!
Thanks!
Nice. One thing though when watching the video you seemed to get clogging in many prints, and it's not clear from the video if you got the clog removed between prints.
The Kingroon was clogging because of the bad quality of filament I'm pretty sure
@@glennbrian3d I guess, as long we are not talking abut a clogged nozzle that makes the issue worse over time.
I like jayo
Yes it's usually good
Thank you 🙏
Glad I can help!
Nice Video but please Full HD or 4K videos!
I move this from my Etsy channel maybe that's why it's not 1080? Is the quality bad?
Elegoo is doing a sale right now a 10 pack of 1kg black for $99
You have to wait so long for the order though
@@glennbrian3d that’s true but I got plenty of pla to last til then
Can you do pla+ please
200? 185? What setting is this?
if you mean the numnbers on the temp towers, its the temperature of the nozzle
Does anyone recommend some I need about 40-50 rolls
What
@@glennbrian3d recommend some filament I need 40-50 but don’t wanna spend over 1k on it
You need more light couldn't see the models very well
Thanks for the comment Peter! Yeah I realize this afterwards especially with the black my other videos should come out a lot better but black is so hard to capture lol
Very dark video - please consider using more lighting as we can't see any details, especially on black surface.

Your lighting needs work man other than that good info
Yeah after I made the video I realized this lol, thanks for watching!
In your opinion what was the best?

@@glennbrian3d whats the best now. Nice video
@@ezloot4u433 it depends I usually do a short when I see a good deal
@@glennbrian3d Thank you
Overture always works good for me unless left out. But it’s always so expensive.
