Hi C W, glad you found it helpful. The equally crazy follow up video I promised on modifying the Bucky to mount a camera inside a car is almost finished so will hopefully be posted soon.

This is starting to tick boxes 3 detachable legs with feet that are a standard 3/8ths thread means i can screw in a table type tripod and use as a foot and be fairly stable , I was thinking a bowl design for self leveling and i'd be quite keen to screw a gimbal to this too.

It certainly is a very modular design and you can use the legs as extenders for things like gimbals etc. 3LT have just released a levelling base which can go on top and you either mount a camera straight to it (which kind of makes it a ball head) or you could put something like a video head on it and then have levelling between the tripod top and the head if that makes sense. I haven't tried that head and TBH I kind of wish they would just sell the spider section of one of their video tripods without legs so I could swap the legs over. But maybe the new levelling base is a better way to do it, I just haven't tried. Bucky is a real winner with the height as it has helped me a number of times when most other tripod would have been way too short.
Hope this helps you towards a decision though.

@@DTSquared Yes something like the spider section without legs would be good. To be honest a selection of legs and extensions would be good. The biggest pain with a tripod is weight but there are times you need more height or a bigger load capacity. E.g I have a carbon fibre section which can raise the centre height by placing between the spider and the "head" maybe 3 simple sections could extend the legs to give greater height than standard. You don't necessarily need it all to telescope down. Having some height control is enough. For example lets say you need 8 feet height for shooting over a crowd , you don't need that every day and you certainly don't need the weight.

I really like the editing. Love the comic style, how do you do it?

The comic style is done in Photoshop. There’s several YT tutorials on it but in essence.
Convert the image to a smart object and make duplicate layers
Apply a posterize effect to the lower layer but set to NO edges.
Apply posterize effect with edges to the top layer, along with a threshold to extract just the edges then a stylise effect to give the edges a brush / oil paint type effect.
I’m waiting for an excuse to buy another 3LT product and create a fourth wacky video for it 😊
