One of the most slept on bands ever, I swear they’re so good, I don’t understand how they haven’t blown up years ago. Like, name one modern band with better songwriting and a better ear for melody, I‘ll wait.
I'm steamed they dont have shit for exposure. I try and play them on our AMI jukebox and the band never pops up =( they truly deserve to be more widespread
it's great. in this "scene" it feels rare so more enjoyable. i feel like Bayside did/does that, can't think of others off the top of my head. in the grand scheme of solos it's nothing insane, but again stands out in this crowd.
I've reaaaaaaally been sleeping on these guys, holy hell. I've just spent 3 hours listening to them and now i've found this. Brilliant, beautiful stuff.
Much Love is an unreal record. I come back to this performance and that record itself a lot. Having done Audiotree myself, I can appreciate this live performance a lot!
Had no clue that the guitar solo in Lighterless was played by Nate. Also had no clue the last half of it was a fuckin finger tap. A+++ performance. Mind blown.
ive seen microwave 4 times live now, i got the pleasure of seeing them perform "thinking of you" and DAMN that shit blew me away, best live song ive ever listened to
Love the convo starting 22:00 with the process of writing, the 3 stages, baritone guitar and the albums you love! We just added a baritone guitar to our band and it has been SOOO cool. Hug fans of Microwave, a big influence for us.
Saw Microwave in Virginia Beach at The Young Veteran’s Brewery two or three years ago. They opened with Gates for All Get Out. I got very drunk, and jumped up on the stage a few times. Best night of my life. Great music.
Heard "Dull", which I'm pretty obsessed with at the moment, in spotify in one of my drunken music adventures, and here I am now. These guys are sounding pretty awesome so far.
I would have died if they played Circling The Drain. Song is perfect. This set is amazing, this is my billionth time watching. 11 minutes in is the new American Dream.
Does anyone know what happened to their guitarist Wesley? I know this guy is Travis, Tyler's brother. (Tyler is the bass player) I really dig his style and all but I was just wondering what happened to Wesley
Not sure if it’s the same guy you’re talking about but I know the old guitar player for Microwave is the vocalist in a band called Blis now. They’re different but really good
Lighterless is simply one of the best songs of all time.
yeah
yeah
Yeah
But seriously. It fucking is.
yeah
We need a Microwave session #3.
They need to play whimper and wrong!
@@GenevaSevenfoldall of them. all of the songs. especially the new stuff. I'm dying to hear Straw Hat and Circling the Drain live.
@@whyyn0tt. yes I agree with you on that as well! I wish I could see them here in Chicago but the show is sold out :/
@@GenevaSevenfold yep. I wanted to go to that exact show! I'm in Indy.
No idea how no one did this yet, but I got y'all.

Vomit's ending is absolutely bonkers
owningall i read that as “vomits ending is absolute boners” still works😂😂
Vomit goes 0-100 in the best way possible
seeing him belt it out even better live just made me really happy\
One of the most slept on bands ever, I swear they’re so good, I don’t understand how they haven’t blown up years ago. Like, name one modern band with better songwriting and a better ear for melody, I‘ll wait.
I'm steamed they dont have shit for exposure. I try and play them on our AMI jukebox and the band never pops up =( they truly deserve to be more widespread
This will be a band people name drop for clout in the future lol
Nathan's lyrics are some of the very best around. I cannot stand how good they are.
So happy they played Vomit at the end.
Absolutely DESTROYED the lighterless solo. Nathan is a beast. Just wish they’d do Whimper in a session.
whimper is definitely their best song
Thinking of You is one of the best written songs I SWEAR
I wish they would have played Whimper so badddd
Nathan was my roommate in college. Glad to see he's doing well.
No he wasn’t, you’re thinking of Bathan
that solo in Lighterless is absurd.
Lighterless is absurd
When the pick goes in the mouth shit gets real.

They're on another level of chill when they're just talking.
Can't wait for them to do some DIAWB live sessions
I hope they do! Those songs absolutely rip
Absolutely agree! I’d like to see them create a whole vibe with the lights like they did with the Stovall session
Still think the right thing to do is tour DIAWB cover to cover...keep that flow!
These guy's deliver not only in originality and in sound but especially with there live performances!
Just as good live as on album absolutely incredible
I've reaaaaaaally been sleeping on these guys, holy hell. I've just spent 3 hours listening to them and now i've found this. Brilliant, beautiful stuff.

Its been over two years and this doesn’t even have 1000 likes yet. Y’all wild.
Good news everyone!
After hearing them talk about boiled peanuts, the scream at 13:36 took me for a ride
Had no clue that the guitar solo in Lighterless was played by Nate. Also had no clue the last half of it was a fuckin finger tap. A+++ performance. Mind blown.
We must protect these guys at all costs.
Thinking of you is so damn good. One of those songs where you wish you were the one who wrote it
ive seen microwave 4 times live now, i got the pleasure of seeing them perform "thinking of you" and DAMN that shit blew me away, best live song ive ever listened to
in love with this band
Interesting, Neighbors is what got me into Microwave. That song absolutely rules.
I wish these guys would get the radio time and attention they deserve. Every song on this session is A FUCKING BANGER.
they seem like the coolest dudes
i love lighterless
now i love all their music. Go Microwave. Book a show in bumfuk NH!
One of my favourite sessions, great interviewing too!!
Yesss when they talked about oceana. Great session. They gotta get polyenso in there
they should make it happen!!!
One of my all time favorite bands. Great session.
Starving for a Session 3!
Love the convo starting 22:00 with the process of writing, the 3 stages, baritone guitar and the albums you love! We just added a baritone guitar to our band and it has been SOOO cool. Hug fans of Microwave, a big influence for us.

Ooo I’m so glad they got an audiotree session for Stovall AND much love!!
I love these fellas more than anything
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY
Vomit gives me chills every damn time i hear it
so stoked when I found out they had an audiotree session
But they have 2!
Saw Microwave in Virginia Beach at The Young Veteran’s Brewery two or three years ago. They opened with Gates for All Get Out. I got very drunk, and jumped up on the stage a few times. Best night of my life. Great music.
Great to hear Oceana's Clean Head EP is still relevant! One of my favs
Just saw them open for story so far in Portland. Missed like half the set. Definitely going to go early next time to get the full set.
I saw Microwave then they opened up for Trophy Eyes last year, god damn these guys give their music their all
Best band ever along with Jimmy Eat World
brings me to fucking tears bro i love this band
Heard "Dull", which I'm pretty obsessed with at the moment, in spotify in one of my drunken music adventures, and here I am now. These guys are sounding pretty awesome so far.
If you haven't already, listen to their album stovall. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard. You won't be disappointed
holy hit. I saw microwave live a few years ago with Tir Asleen. Didn't think they'd ever be on here lol
this is their 2nd appearance on here mate
Early Manchester Orchestra vibes. Love it.
saw them with motioncity soundtrack and been a fan since
I would have died if they played Circling The Drain. Song is perfect. This set is amazing, this is my billionth time watching. 11 minutes in is the new American Dream.
Need more live Microwave!
how long sirius black been playing for them??
Erik Baker that’s hilarious someone else thought that too haha
Russell Brand on vocals and rhythm guitar
Definitely a new favorite. You guys are great. See you at ghost fest.
Ghost Fest 3 was the best yet. Microwave is 10/10
The hopelessness you try so hard to disguise hits so hard
I love this band!
Still absolutely adore these boys. Cant wait to see them play live again ❤
Please bring these guys back 😭😭
much love is the greatest album of all time for sure
34:08 YOU'RE WELCOME
This band should be huge... the kids have let them Down.
17:22
Love that the drummer is wearing a Fest 15 shirt. Representing the Gainesville, FL scene!!
This band is so great
This band are a gem , got some super good material. So Surprised they’re not that big
Now that's a *T H I C C* snare
Drums are rock solid
The most and the least chill rock band out there. Love this shit.
I would love to hear Dull at 10bpm slower 😱
Everything is so fucking CLEAN 🥵🖤
Does anyone know what happened to their guitarist Wesley? I know this guy is Travis, Tyler's brother. (Tyler is the bass player) I really dig his style and all but I was just wondering what happened to Wesley
Not sure if it’s the same guy you’re talking about but I know the old guitar player for Microwave is the vocalist in a band called Blis now. They’re different but really good
jwoody2396 i know nate used to play for blis so they have a lot of connections.
Wesley quit im pretty sure im not sure why but he plays guitar in a band called king of summer now another Atlanta local band
Vomit ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND.
And Tito is the fucking man.
the bouncing off of each others screams in vomit gives me life
I’ve always thought they sounded a bit Cleanhead-Oceana-like and they totally shouted it out. It’s like when your friends become friends
Badass fuckers right there. Vomit goes entirely too damn hard. Respect to these guys and continuing rock!!!!
Wow I always expected the guy Infront of the much love cover to be the singer, guessed the drummer correct tho lol
I wanna see them live just to get in that pit for vomit
I fucking love microwave I’m also from Ga and the fact that they love boiled peanuts is great
It would of been GOD like if they went from 'thinking of you' seamlessly into the next song on the album 'but not often'
Can anyone else tell the influence Blis. has had in his vocal melodies?
i hear a bit of andy hull in there, really.
Elefantiago S. well he was in the band blis before Microwave got big so it might be the other way around. You might be right though
they've always reminded me of each other. both great bands in their own way though
Their singer Nate used to be the guitarist of Blis lol
2:46 looks like 2 guys arguing without looking at each other
Hell yeah boiled peanuts are my shit
vomit taught me how to scream years ago
what's the name of the interviewer
Oh, it makes more sense now...so it was a band, not an oven that was being used to tap Trump's office.
hell yes
RIP Brand New
Normally Audiotree has great mixes
But not gonna lie, the sound guy did them dirty this time around.
Scott Stapp Scotch Tape Scotch whisky
Is the presenter wired?
Such well structured songs but the drummer is robiticly ahead of the beat.
I never knew Russell Brand was the vocalist of this band 😂
listening on shrooms with headphones and wow. I'm into a diff Lol
why does their drummer look like someone you’d see in guitar hero
Shoutout Keanu reeves on bass
I didn’t know Walter White could play drums so well
did these guys play any music?
You deaf or just stupid?
moist critical band
