Microwave is an evolved punk rock band whose new sound is sometimes hard, sometimes soft, and always a jam. After a few years of aggressive touring and exploratory songwriting, they've entered into an era of more sonically adventurous pursuits. One of the most slept on bands ever, I swear they’re so good, I don’t understand how they haven’t blown up years ago. Like, name one modern band with better songwriting and a better ear for melody, I‘ll wait.
I'm steamed they dont have shit for exposure. I try and play them on our AMI jukebox and the band never pops up =( they truly deserve to be more widespread

it's great. in this "scene" it feels rare so more enjoyable. i feel like Bayside did/does that, can't think of others off the top of my head. in the grand scheme of solos it's nothing insane, but again stands out in this crowd.
Thinking of You is one of the best written songs I SWEAR

Interesting, Neighbors is what got me into Microwave. That song absolutely rules.
Had no clue that the guitar solo in Lighterless was played by Nate. Also had no clue the last half of it was a fuckin finger tap. A+++ performance. Mind blown.

Saw Microwave in Virginia Beach at The Young Veteran’s Brewery two or three years ago. They opened with Gates for All Get Out. I got very drunk, and jumped up on the stage a few times. Best night of my life. Great music.

Love the convo starting 22:00 with the process of writing, the 3 stages, baritone guitar and the albums you love! We just added a baritone guitar to our band and it has been SOOO cool. Hug fans of Microwave, a big influence for us.

Heard "Dull", which I'm pretty obsessed with at the moment, in spotify in one of my drunken music adventures, and here I am now. These guys are sounding pretty awesome so far.
