An interesting fact I learned from a book by him (which I was hoping would be included here) is that he became deaf at some point in his life and tried to use a horn to hear, but that never stopped him from composing pieces. He was using his imagination.

His Birthday is celebrated on December 16th as it was more common to be baptized the day after your birthday. And besides that's when Schroeder says it is. 😂

Haydn was not Mozart's teacher. They met, and while Mozart was younger, they were essentially peers by that point. Mozart was already an established performer and composer.
