*The switch up of the guitar represent the phases of the drug. The beginning is the euphoria of the drug kicking in. Then it's the drug starting to wear off. Then it's the chaotic frenzy of withdrawals and needing it again. So you got that right with the symbolism. Metallica speaks through their instruments just as much as their lyrics. Great reaction and more Metallica please! For those who insist this song endorses drug use.. Uhm no! They're saying the opppsite.. that it will ruin your life.* 🤘🤘🤘

It's fun to read these stories and remember the 80's. The first time I heard Metallica, 1986, I was 15...I went to see Ozzy 'The Ultimate Sin' in concert and Metallica was the opening act. The first song they played 'Battery' absolutely blew my mind, then they did Master of Puppets and I was just completely blown away. Went and bought the cassette a few days later and it changed my life as well, this was not the poser glam hair metal I had previously liked, this was fire, complex, real metal!

Some of my favorite bands as an adolescent growing up in the 80’s were Metallica, Iron Maiden, The Cars, Dire Straits, Billy Idol, Def Leppard, Scorpions, White Snake, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Great White, Led Zeppelin, etc. I also loved folk rock like Jim Croce, John Denver, Paul Simon, etc.

This is my personal favorite Metallica song. I LOVE watching reactions to it, so I was SO glad to see that you are doing it, since I friggin adore you. I'll have to check and see what other Metasllica you've done. (You mentioned you did something else) And, thank you for doing your reactions shirtless. I appreciate you, man. LOL. I enjoy your content.

You were very close about the switch up! It's when you TAKE the drug and you're floating "high" and then the high goes away...
