To prove to all of the haters that this is good clay: I went to an orchid show. A professional sculpter was there, she made these BEAUTIFUL tiny orchids, and for a second I thought that they were real. She told that she made the clay herself and that recipe in the video is what she used.
It looks like the ingredient amounts were just judging to get the right consistency - not too dry or runny. I'll try that. The object you made appeared smooth and very hard. Did you have to bake it to harden or just let it air dry. Thanks for the video.
This is great I have many projects that I can use this in. But I need a clay that is much more firm, for sculpting. The clay here is much to soft and would not hold form but would instead resist form. I wish there was a way to make form clay for sculpting.
KayCity Rose you can just use 4 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of white glue, 1 tablespoons of cornstarch, and a few drops of baby oil. I use this recipe for my anime figurine and it works great! For more details please check out Clayitnow for more informations hope this help! : )
Cold porcelain is an inexpensive, non-toxic, easy-to-work-with material. Despite its name, it is not porcelain; its main components are cornstarch and white glue, but can also include low quantities of oils and glycerol which promote a porcelain-like, smooth texture.

Lee Tau it is NOT polymer clay. Polymer clay is based around polymers funnily enough, which are plastics. This is not plastic, and is air dried.
